2015 Mitsubishi Lancer
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
It fits, but not the best I've ever seen. I actually bought from Crutchfield so I could get better than the same Scosche that I could have bought from anywhere. Not a single page of instructions to be found. I'm used to older installs where the radio attaches to the face kit by sliding the cage in and bending out the tabs to hold it, and my Alpine head unit essentially said to do this in its installation instructions. Imagine my dismay when the radio/cage wouldn't fit through the stupid thing. After a little sitting and looking at it mechanically I took the brackets off the oem unit and tried them on the Alpine. It needs instructions, someone that hasn't done a lot of radios may not figure this out. After install it left a little gap around the radio but I was able to modify it a bit to take care of this. Also, the A/C vents do not snap into this very well at all.
Pros: None really.
Cons: A/C vents don't snap in good. No instructions at all. Needed modified to now show gap around my head unit.Crutchfield response on June 14, 2016 Whenever you encounter a problem with anything you purchase from Crutchfield, please contact our tech support team right away.
