About the Scosche RHYTHM+
Up your capabilities
Up your capabilities
RHYTHM+ fits comfortably on your forearm and communicates with a variety of HR display-quipped devices.
There are dozens of great fitness apps available for your smartphone. But most of them are only as good as the info you enter. The more information you give your fitness apps to work with, the better they'll work for you. Scosche's RHYTHM+ is the just the tool you need. This versatile arm-mounted device tracks your heart rate and automatically relays the info to some of the most popular fitness apps, like DigiFit, Runkeeper, MapMyFitness, and Strava. And Scoshe's PerformTek sensor takes accurate readings — more accurate than many leading brands.
Dual-mode processor communicates with lots of different devices
RHYTHM+ uses the Bluetooth Smart protocol to communicate with your smartphone. It'll automatically sync and upload data to your fitness app, without interfering with anything else your phone is doing. And it's ANT+ compatible. That means it'll talk with a variety of popular running watches and cycling computers, sending heart rate data to them so you don't have to pack your phone with you when you step out the door for your ride or run.

Product Research
Features
Overview: The Rhythm+ Heart Rate Monitor (RTHM1.9) is a workout tool that will help you measure how hard you're working out by monitoring your heart rate, calories burned, distance, pace, and more. The PerformTek precision sensor technology continually measures real-time heart rate data more accurately than a conventional chest strap. It connects via Bluetooth Smart protocol to your smartphone, and works with most popular health and fitness apps, including DigiFit, Runkeeper, MapMyFitness, and Strava. Its extended wireless range lets you work out up to 100 feet away from your device.
ANT+ Compatible: RTHM1.9 is ANT+ certified, and is compatible with displays that support heart rate data, such as watches, fitness equipment, and smartphones. Its dual-mode processor lets you simultaneously transmit your heart rate to multiple ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart devices.
Smartphone Compatibility: The Rhythm+ is compatible with the following devices:
- iPhone: 6 Plus, 6, 5S, 5C, 5, 4S
- iPad: mini with retina display, mini, 4th gen, 3rd gen
- iPod touch: 5th gen
- Samsung: Galaxy S IV
Monitor Placement: Rhythm+ is worn on the forearm, and placed on the inside or top of your arm just below the elbow. It should be worn snug enough so that it doesn't move around, but not too tight that it restricts arm circulation. The monitor comes with two breathable lightweight armbands (14" and 10" long and 1-1/8" wide).
Waterproof: The Rhythm+ Heart Rate Monitor's sweatproof and waterproof construction is built to IEC Standard 60529 IP67, and can withstand immersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
Power Requirements: The monitor is powered by a rechargeable battery that provides up to 8 hours of workout time on a 2-hour charge. The Rhythm+ comes with a charging base that plugs into your computer or a USB charging port.

Decided to purchase this based on other reviews. It works flawlessly. I wear it on my forearm. Very comfortable. Much better than chest straps. I forget it's even on. Highly recommended.
