I have just ordered a refurbished pair. I use them for about 6 hours a day. For the price they are amazing. Great bass response and treble tones. Everything seems to be perfect except for the fit. They are a little tight and I noticed I am not the only who thinks so. After awhile I have to take them off and message my ears. But other then that they are amazing. I love the cord on one side. Great Highly Recommended!!

These headphones sound great and I think that they are an excellant buy for the price. I'm a DJ and the only drawback that I found is that they are a little tight after wearing them for a while. I hope they will loosen up a little once I break them in. Otherwise great headphones.

Great sound, a little uncomfortable

I share an office and I needed a pair of headphones to shut everything out while my office mate was on the phone or having a client meeting. These headphone sound awesome, beautiful highs and deep rich base. Much better than the ear buds you place inside your ear.
The only problem I have is that they're too tight. After about 30 minutes I start moving them around to find a new comfortable spot. I've only used them 3 or 4 times at this point so I'm hoping there is a break-in period and they will "stretch" out a little.

VERY Comfortable

I thought this pair of headphones was easily the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever owned. I use the headphones at work only and I'm able to wear them for a whole shift without getting any soreness on my ears or the top of my head.
As far as the sound goes, the headphones do the trick. I haven't ever owned a nice pair of headphones so I don't have a good comparison for the quality of the sound.
The price was excellent and I am so glad I didn't spend more money on a nicer pair of headphones. I think that would have been more than I needed. I read where one person felt the headphones made his ears/face warm, but I didn't get too hot wearing them.
The HD205's were a GREAT purchase!

Great Value and Sound For the Money

I wanted headphones to use with my MacBook. I did a Google search and found a site where people shared their opinions on headphones. Overwhelmingly Sennheiser was the brand most recommended. I then went to the Sennheiser web site and looked at all their products to decide on which of their headphones would give me the most bang for the buck. Once decided I did a Google search for the product. Crutchfield's had it for by far the lowest price available.
Now for the sound. Unbelievable. It is like being at a symphony hall or a fine opera house. The chorals are amazing. While these headphones are not noise canceling, the the amount of background noise that filters through is negligible. I am awestruck that one get get such superior sound quality for such little money!
