Eargonomic Acoustic Refinement (E.A.R.): Sennheiser's E.A.R. technology enables ideal sound
channeling for an exceptional listening experience. Additionally, sound is
optimized through angled acoustics baffles parallel to the listener's ear.
Circumaural Earcups: The HD 595 headphones feature an around-the-ear design, with cotton velour covered ear
cups to provide optimum comfort in
those places where sturdy material would rest on your head.
Open Sound: The HD 595 headphones feature high-quality metal
mesh over the back of the earcups for open and transparent sound.
Advanced Duofol Diaphragm: The diaphragms of
dynamic headphones typically consist of a very thin film that is caused to move by an
attached coil. Sennheiser's Advanced Duofol diaphragm technology almost
eliminates standing waves inside the capsule because the diaphragm shape is optimized by
computer for purer sound
Aluminum Voice Coils: The HD 595 headphones have voice coils made of aluminum, an
ultra-lightweight and very durable material. Such a low-mass coil, together
with the Duofol diaphragm, produces excellent dynamics and are highly efficient
for accurate musical reproduction.
Compressed Cellulose Fleece: Highly constant, compressed cellulose
fleece reduces total harmonic distortion (THD: < 0.1%).
Magnet System: These
headphones use computer-optimized field-strengthened neodymium ferrous driver magnets for deep bass
and clear, crisp trebles.
Headphone Cable: Specially modulated single-sided connecting
cable (detachable) made from highly conductive OFC copper and Kevlar-reinforced,
with very low handling noise for low structure-borne sound sensitivity.
Gold-Plated Connector: The HD 595 headphones features a
gold-plated 1/4" connector and comes with a 1/8" (3.5mm) adapter.
Sennheiser headphones are modular for long service life. Ear cushions,
headbands, cables, and sometimes even driver elements are easily snapped out so
new ones, which can be ordered from the manufacturer, can take their place.
