Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Cheap, cheap cheap. The instructions are a waste of time. Don't expect to remove the batteries often or you will be putting tape to hold the pads in place. CRUTCHFIELD sold me a TV which supposedly worked with these head phones. Except the jack didn't fit the hole in the back. The 3.5 mm standard jack seemed to require too much force so I just half inserted it. But I got sound. Quality of sound? Fair and maybe good if I get the jack situation straight.
Pros: They operate --- with jack inserted sideways.
Cons: Bad instructions. Pads had a battery cover affixed by cheap plastic slots into which a snap was inserted. The life of these will be short if you have to remove the batteries and may not even hold up to putting the phone on and off your head. Why not screws for another dime a unit? The controls for volume and on/off on the phones are also cheap. Suitable for a ten dollar toy for a child of single digit age.
