If you like to work out hard, the Sennheiser/adidas PMX-680i headphones are built to go the distance with you. These tough-yet-comfortable earbuds are made for heavy movement thanks to their neckband and moisture-resistant design. The '680i also gives you an in-line remote for easy operation of your favorite Apple® device. You can control your music's volume, and pause, play, or skip through your songs. Plus, a built-in microphone lets you manage calls on your iPhone®, and provides voice control on select iPod® and iPhone models. So whether you're pouring it on at the gym or some unexpected weather is doing that for you, the music will keep on pumping.

The '680i's bright yellow cord is reinforced with Kevlar® for extra durability, and the neckband is even reflective for added safety during those early-bird jogs. While the headphones keep the music coming, they're also made to let some ambient sound through — so you can still hear the traffic or a fellow athlete looking to get in some reps on the weight machine. The included cable clip means less chance of yanking the 'phones out of your ears, and a convenient pouch gives it a good home until next time.

This is a very well built headset. I trust the claim that states it is "sweat-proof" or "sweat-resistant" is accurate. I have been at the gym with them several times already, and when I am at the gym it is as if this headset has been submerged in sweat. The sound quality is as good as can be expected. Now that I have a headset that can outperform the output of my phone it's time to upgrade the later. For the cost I would highly recomend this headset.

Pros: Sweat-proof or sweat-resistant, durability, sound quality, comfort, variety of uses from just listening to music up to making a call.

Cons: Not wireless

These headphones were OK for a grand total of 2 months. Then, the right headphone conked out completely. Even when both headphones worked, the sound quality and volume were poor. The only thing good about these headphones is the volume/control buttons, but, needless to say, I'd much rather have headphones that worked. And our friends at Sennheiser have made it virtually impossible to place a warranty claim in a practicable manner.

This product just ain't worth the premium price; that's for sure.

This headphones are great for running they are out of the way & very confortable, I love the attached remote to skip, forward through your ipod/iphone. if I had to pick any flows the only one would be when working out laying on benches the neckband gets in the way but if you can live with that they are great.

I am a mechanic and these headphones work great, and have stood up very well. They have very good sound and the controls are a very nice feature to have since my hands are dirty most of the time so I dont have to handle my Iphone to change songs or answer calls.

Superb Headphones

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Immaculate headphones! I sweat profusely when working out and needed a replacement set. The ones I replaced could not keep the sweat from going into my ears. Occasionally, the sweat would make it seem as though the music was breaking. At one point, I started to think my IPOD was going out. These headphones rock and sound pretty good and I am VERY content with my purchase. The sound is sweet and bass actually more pronounced. The fit on the head is pretty good as well. You can rest assure that you will not regret this purchase.
