The headphones provided great sound with clarity at mid and high volume. Bass was a little lacking, but adequate for the price. Build design provides good portability but seems fragile if mishandled.

Pros: Sound quality and clarity. Comfortable fit. Light weight.

Cons: Fragile feel in terms of construction. Lacking bass.

two thumbs up!

I bought these for my wife so she could watch videos on her computer while I watch TV. They are very comfortable, and give enough sound isolation, but not so much that I can't get her attention. The sound quality is very good for the price, but no competition for really expensive headphones. They seem to be well built.

Pros: Very comfortable, good sound isolation, well built. Good sound for the price,

Cons: None I can think of.

After going through 2 sets of ear buds from different manaufacturers I finally decided to go with this over the ear style. Sennheiser is known for great quality sound and that's exactly what you get from this product. I've rated noise reduction at 4 stars since this is not a true noise cancelling headphone. However, I can wear these while I cut the grass and not have them on their peak output. Good for me and my hearing.

Pros: Good sound reprodution. Very comfortable fit. Blocks out enough noise to use in many situations.

Cons: Won't advance tracks in iTunes..Cord is a little long. A little pricey but worth it.

Works great. Built well and comfortable. A bit of a learning curve to "fold" them correctly for storage! Purchased them as I was getting inner ear issues off and on from my wonderful, perfect Etymotic hf3 earbuds. Prefer in ear buds but these headphones are great. I did a bit of research and was glad I did as I definitely wanted volume control and mic on the cord. I dont like having to pull my iPhone in and out of my purse/bag to adjust sound etc. You wont regret getting these.

Pros: Comfortable and well built.

Cons: Would like more of a "differentiation" between sound/ volume/control/ pause buttons so one could "feel" them easier and feel/find the difference betw. them instead of guessing. Occas. I press vol. +or - and end up pausing it etc. The control buttons are so close.Or, that the mic/controls are placed just a bit lower on cord so one could see the control buttons. I would like a cord clip to attach cord to person so it (and the mic) doesnt swing around.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought the Sennheiser headphones as a gift for my wife to use while on the treadmill. The headphones perform as advertised as in great sound and perfect for working out. I own a pair of Bose headphones and I was impressed with the Sennheiser quality for the price. Crutchfield service and follow up was terrific.

Pros: Lightweight, over the ear

Cons: none

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These were on back order for like 3 months. Finally, they come in and I called Crutchfield about my order that is being delivered. They tell me they got enough units to fill the back order, and then have 32 left on the shelves. I needed 25 more, so I instantly ordered the rest of them. We give them to staff at our office to use as a standard headphone for Skpe, Webex, phone calls, etc. Everyone loves them.

Customer Q&A

Crutchfield asked
Why did you buy this?

1. Excellent sound quality 2. Leather ear pads that stand up to gym sweat much better than the old foam rubber ones that needed to be periodically replaced 3. Convenience of inline volume and other controls [ Robert  Apr 13, 2016 ]

1 question already asked

i am interested in these for a different reason, the silicone earpads. I want these for the gym because most foam. faux leather shred and peel apart when wet from profusely sweating. Then i thought maybe silicone ear pads would stay together so the question i have since i want these for the gym do they have a volume control and would the plug fit into a MP3 playerEnter an answer to this question.
