The Sennheiser PXC 350 noise compensation headphones reduce outside sounds such as engine roar and background conversation so you can enjoy your music at lower and safer volume levels while traveling. And they deliver warm, detailed sound, thanks to Sennheiser's patented speaker drivers and careful design.
A built-in switch activates the noise compensation. Tiny microphones in the headphones pick up the sounds of your environment. Advanced circuitry then creates a signal that "cancels out" much of this external noise without affecting your music or movie soundtrack.
The PXC 350s feature generous padding on the earcups and headband so you can wear them comfortably for hours on end — handy for long trips. And they fold flat for compact storage in the provided travel case.

Overview: The Sennheiser PXC 350 are closed, dynamic, over-the-ear stereo headphones with active noise compensation technology know as NoiseGard Advance, designed for use with any entertainment system, including in-flight audio systems. Passive and active noise reduction enable you to enjoy music even in noisy environments.
NoiseGard Advance Noise-cancellation Technology: NoiseGard Technology is an active noise compensation system which Sennheiser originally developed for use by pilots, who have to rely on good sound quality and efficient protection against ambient noise even in high-noise environments. NoiseGard actively compensates the noise, based on the physics principle of sound and counter-sound. The PXC 350 features the NoiseGard Advance technology. This technology is a further development of the filter functions used in the original NoiseGard system, and enables even better active attenuation of ambient noise of up to 85%. It is of course also possible to use these headphones passively, without NoiseGard and without batteries.
Diaphragms: The PXC 350 enables audiophile sound experience, thanks to its adaptive baffle damping in combination with the patented Duofol diaphragms, which prevent unwanted partial oscillation and thus guarantee a highly natural, lifelike sound quality.
Volume Control: The headphone's volume can be adjusted directly on the headphones from the in-line remote integrated into the supplied headphone cable.
Comfortable Fit: The PXC 350 provides a comfortable fit and high level of passive ambient noise attenuation thanks to its over-the-earcup design and padded adjustable headband made of top quality materials.
Removable Headphone Cable: The headphone cable of the PXC 350 can easily be removed and replaced for long service life. You can also remove the headphone cable to use the headphones as a passive hearing protector device.
Airline Stereo Audio Adapter: The supplied airline stereo audio adapter allows connection to a variety of aircraft entertainment systems.
Travel Case: The headphones fold together for compact storage in the provided case, making them an ideal travel accessory.

AWESOME product. I listen to drums & base, Jungle and techno which all require VERY strong base support. Cons 6" cord is a lilttle short.
