Overview: This board mount kit is designed to work specifically with the Polaroid XS100 and XS80 Action Cameras. The kit lets you mount the camera onto surf board, snow board, skateboard, or other similar boards. The package consists of the mount assembly, which attaches to the board, along with various mounts that fasten to the camera. Several 3M dual-sided adhesive pads are included to secure the mount's components. A security string is included to tether the camera to the secure mount.

Mounting: The board mount assembly can be used on flat or near flat surfaces, such as those found on various boards. The assembly can be secured to the board using the supplied 3M dual-sided adhesive pad. For extra security, or if the adhesive pad isn't satisfactory, you can use straps up to 3/4" wide (straps not included) to strap the mount assembly to the board. A strap anchor (with an included adhesive pad) is included to help keep the strap from slipping. Once mounted, the board mount arm can be rotated 360° and the arm raised and lowered for the best aiming and positioning.

Camera Mounts: There are two mounts for the Polaroid Action Cameras that work with the board mount assembly. One mount slides and locks onto the bottom of the camera, while the other is equipped with a screw that can be used with the tripod socket on the bottom of the camera. Both camera mounts fit onto the board mount arm and will allow you to tilt the camera forward or backward for best positioning.

Secure Mount: The board mount kit includes the Secure Mount and security string to tether the camera to the board. The secure mount fits into a cutout in the base of the board mount assembly, and attaches to the board with the supplied 3M adhesive pad. The security string attaches to the secure mount and the camera to prevent loss in case the camera is knocked off of the mount.
