Sit too long and a red bar appears, and it even provides an audible reminder if you want. Or set it to provide a vibration alert through your compatible mobile device if that's a better cue.

And vivofit 2 doesn't take time off — it will track the quality of your rest while you're sleeping, too. Once you're moving and establishing a routine, use vivofit 2 to expand your horizons. Overview: The Garmin vívofit 2 is a water-resistant activity tracker that helps you keep track of and reach your personal fitness goals. The slender, lightweight device is worn on the wrist, and displays your steps, calories burned, and distances traveled, and alerts you when you've reached your daily goal. With the optional ANT+ wireless premium heart rate monitor, it shows your current heart rate and your heart rate zone. It can even monitor your sleep. The vívofit 2 weighs less than an ounce.

Jonathan Adler + Garmin: This special bundle features two wrist bands by renowned designer Jonathan Adler. The two Manhattan series pattern-printed bands in the series are Bridget (black) and Nixon Square (cyan blue). Other Jonathan Adler accessory bands are available for the vívofit 2: Newport Trio and Palm Beach Trio.

Wrist Bands: The vívofit 2 Manhattan bundle comes with two "small" wrist bands, designed to fit wrists with a circumference of 4.72" to 6.9". The vívofit 2 should be worn all day to monitor your activities, and all night if you wish to monitor your sleep.

Garmin Connect: The vívofit 2 has built-in Bluetooth Smart technology so you can automatically pair it to your smartphone or mobile device. You can also use the supplied wireless USB ANT+ stick to connect the device to your home computer. With the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone or computer, you can keep track of your activities, your daily goals, the calories you've burned, and help motivate you to keep active. You can also share your activities and goals with your friends on social media. The vívofit 2 settings are configured on Garmin Connect, including Time Format (12-hour or 24-hour), Measurement Units (miles or kilometers), Visible Screens, and Auto Goal. Garmin Connect for your home computer is compatible with Windows XP and newer and Mac OS 10.7 or higher. Activities: The Garmin vívofit 2 keeps track of your activity level throughout the day and displays the results on the 1" x 0.39" liquid crystal display. You can view at a glance your daily step count and the percentage of your daily step goal, the distance you have traveled, the number of calories you have burned, the time of day, your current heart rate, and your heart rate zone (when used with the optional ANT+ heart rate monitor). If Auto Goal is enabled, the device will adjust your daily step goal up or down depending upon your previous step totals. If worn at night, the vívofit 2 monitors your rest, including total hours of sleep, periods of movement, and periods of restful sleep. The vívofit 2's memory stores up to 3 weeks of 24/7 activity data, or up to 2 weeks if the heart rate monitor is used one hour a day. You should sync the device with your phone or home computer periodically to clear the memory.

Water Resistance: The vívofit 2 has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, which means it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters (164 feet). Not only can you wear the device in the rain and wet weather, you can even shower or swim with it. The device also has a wide operating temperature range of 14° to 140°F.

Batteries: The vívofit 2 is powered by two user-replaceable CR1632 coin cell batteries with a battery life of more than a year. There's no need to charge the unit.
