Features

Overview: This Dive Case is designed for use with the Garmin VIRB and VIRB Elite HD action cameras. The case is made of clear, high-impact plastic with watertight seals and sturdy locks.

Waterproof Rating: Out of the box, the VIRB and VIRB Elite can withstand incidental exposure to water up to 1 meter in depth for up to 30 minutes (IPX7). The Dive Case increases the waterproof rating to 50 meters. This allows you to use your VIRB or VIRB Elite for sustained underwater recording.

Humidity Indicator: The Dive Case comes with a humidity indicator which can be inserted in the case with the camera. The indicator has three "dots" that turn from brown to green to show the level of humidity inside the case. One green dot indicates 30% humidity and provides a warning. Two green dots indicate 40% humidity, prompting the user to change the desiccant pack. Three green dots show 50% humidity inside the case, warning the user to examine the item.

Desiccant Pack: The included desiccant pack contains pellets that absorb moisture to protect the camera, and to prevent the case from fogging. The pack becomes saturated after approximately four uses. The desiccant can be heated in an oven for 60 minutes at 185°F to dry so it can be reused.
