Track your life

Garmin's vivofit is your ticket to living the life you want. Your vivofit band tracks the steps you take, the distance you travel, and the calories you burn throughout the day. As time goes on, vivofit assesses your fitness level and then assigns daily goals that gradually bump up your fitness and propel you towards the healthy lifestyle you're trying to achieve.

And vivofit doesn't take time off — it can track the quality of your rest while you're sleeping. At work, vivofit will even remind you to get out of your seat and move. Sit too long and a red bar appears — get up and move for a few minutes and it resets.

Heart-rate monitor included

This vivofit bundle includes a heart rate monitor strap for recording your heart rate during exercise. Heart rate is one of the most accurate metrics for determining your fitness level — when you strap the monitor onto your chest, you'll provide vivofit with the maximum amount of information, so it can fine tune your efforts to really get into shape.

Do not order

Written by: Jim from Arkansas on January 19, 2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I ordered 2 one for my wife and my self. The web sight will not work with 2 of them as in mixing the input from them and it will not down load the data with out multi tries even on only 1 unit. That was with my windows system. If you have a MAC do not even go that direction. I would not let me even set up the system at all. No instructions were in the boxes. I got some on line but the web sight did not respond as instructed.

Pros: None!

Cons: They do not play well each other. Or solo.

Great motivator, easy to use

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This product was as described, easy to set up (once I found the instruction manual online...it was not included in the packaging) and keeps me motivated to keep moving. I agree with an earlier reviewer that having a back light on this unit would be nice. Heart rate monitor doesn't always pick up my heart rate - sometimes I have to adjust it or tighten it quite a bit.

Pros: Easy to use, alerts you when you need to move again, easy to sync, a great motivator, monitors sleep patterns/movement

Cons: Need to be able to light up the screen in the dark

Vivofit for Mother's Day

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I received the vivofit for a gift. No real complaints, seems to work as advertised. Haven't tried the heart rate monitor yet. Wish it had backlighting so I could see the time in the dark, so I wouldn't have to wear my watch & the vivofit. Band has held up so far & isn't too bad to wear on a hot day.

Pros: Software is easy or use. I like being able to track my sleep.

Cons: Wish it was a little slimmer. I've scratched the dace already. Needs backlight to read in the dark.

The slender, lightweight device is worn on the wrist, and displays your steps, calories burned, and distances traveled, and alerts you when you've reached your daily goal. With the included ANT+ wireless heart rate monitor, it shows your current heart rate and your heart rate zone. It can even monitor your sleep. The vívofit weighs less than an ounce, and comes in five color choices.

Garmin Connect: The vívofit has built-in Bluetooth Smart technology so you can automatically pair it to your smartphone or mobile device. You can also use the supplied wireless USB ANT+ stick to connect the device to your home computer. With the Garmin Connect app on your phone or computer, you can keep track of your activities, your daily goals, the calories you've burned, and help motivate you to keep active. You can also share your activities and goals with your friends on social media. The vívofit settings are configured on Garmin Connect, including Time Format (12-hour or 24-hour), Measurement Units (miles or kilometers), Visible Screens, and Auto Goal. The vívofit is compatible with the following devices:

  • Android:
    • HTC One
    • Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Note 3, S3, S4
