It works, *vbs*

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

We live in the mountains and suffer excruciatingly hot summers with constant mosoons, and freezing cold, snowy/sleety winters, with plenty of rain in Spring and Fall as well.

When we decided to replace our Mitsubishi Montero SUV factory system with a new system, (2 dash-speakers, 4 door-speakers, and receiver), we thought it best to get the Dynamat, (as well as Baffles), for the speakers going in the doors.

I wasn't sure if it would really make a difference, but the 'before and after' have certainly told the tale.

There is no rattling anymore. Nor is the sound shadowed by the faint, but constant, street noise either. I really didn't think these accessories would matter all that much, but they do, and I'm glad we spent the few extra dollars to get them.

I'm also glad for the protection that the Baffles gives us since our weather is so severe all the time.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Does it help???
I have no way to prove it...But
I spent alot on speakers and a nice head unit.
Why would I not get this?
The metal on cars gets thinner by the year making lower powered units
rattle speakers. On larger speakers there is some times small gaps letting
sound mingle.
The seal is perfect and I used the center of the cut out on the inside of my
doors to make sure metal and magnet do not touch....Bad Stuff..

Would buy again

Dynamat 10115 Original Speaker Kit

If you want a great sounding stereo sytem, Dynamat is the key foundation
to achieving that! My 92 Civic HB is fully dynamatted! That's right... the fire
wall, the floor, the headliner, the doors ... everywhere! Adding dynamat to
your car will greatly improve your sound systems efficiency and will save
you from the humility of people laughing at you when you drive down the
street because it sounds like your car is about to fall apart. My system
sounds so clean and even when I am bumpin my hardest, you can stand
outside of my car and you will not hear any rattling, infact you can bearly
even hear the music. That's how efficient this stuff is!

Did a subwoofer swap on my Jeep. Wrapped the sub enclosure with dynamat where it attached to center console. It smoothed out the sound and removed any rattle that I had with factory setup. Great stuff. Best price I have found.

Definate best buy!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

All I can say is this stuff is awesome, i wanted to put it on then cut out the space for the speaker port but the glass on my '06 Mustang was too slanted so that was a no go. I ended up using my factory speaker as a template to cut out the port but man i cut it and the Dynomat decided to stretch on me. But I could definately hear a difference in sound and bass with it on and no more rattles from the rear deck except for the trunk lid. I even had enough to use on my licence plate so i did not have to buy the licence plate kit.

This stuff does what they say it does and more. The adhesive on the back is forgiving in that it allows you to remove and recenter when you are trying to fit it onto curved surfaces or into hard-to-reach places. One bonus feature; when you are installing door speakers, better speakers sometimes have a greater mounting depth than the OEM's you remove, and in my case, the speaker mounted in kind of a 'bowl' that was of course metal. I wasn't going to use this stuff until I realized the speaker kind of sucked itself into the mounting area; even through the baffle, the magnet was drawing against the back of the 'bowl'(this would no-doubt have really affected sound quality!). I put a slab of Dynamat behind the speaker and it insulated the magnet from the metal behind it. Awsome bonus!!!
