Sony's Motionflow™ technology delivers smear-free motion

It doubles the video frame rate by inserting 60 entirely new frames between the original 60 frames. The KDL-40W4100's "jack pack" includes four advanced HDMI connections that will ensure maximum picture quality as high-def formats evolve. Sony calls them 24p True Cinema capable, which means they can accept the 1080p/24 output from a Blu-ray player. Most movies are originally shot at 24p (24 frames per second), so this feature lets you see video in its most flawless form. One HDMI input is placed on the side of the TV so it's easier to hook up an HD camcorder or video game console.
