Everything that's needed!

I've got to say, I've been researching TV's for years. I do not normally make larger purchases like this, unless I'm truly sure about what I'm getting into. After the first week of using it, I am extremely happy! It has all of the high end qualities that you would need. The 120 refresh is fantastic and is worth the extra money. Where it seems to help the most is when source you are using is less than 1080p. I am using Comcast cable and the HD channels are really great. The non-HD channels are pretty good, but I am always excited if we have the option to watch on the short list of HD channels.
Watching through the Blu Ray player is awesome also. I am using an old Pioneer receiver without surround sound. I wanted to use the TV speakers and the sound from the TV at the same time, but the sound travels at different rates so there was a minor echo and didn't allow for using both at the same time. There was no problem though using just my old receiver for sound.
I would highly recommend this TV. It is well worth the money over the S and V model to get the greater refresh rate.

Purely Worth the Money

This is a Great TV. Sports feel like you are there in the Action and adding a Surround Sound system will only impress your friends even more. The Picture does not blur at all with the 120hz refresh rate and it makes for a more crisp image. Video games are very good on this TV too. Gears of War, for starters, really puts this TV to the test. Picture doesn't Pixelate or slow down its Fantastic! With a BluRay player your aiming for the best movie experience ever. Having a Logitech Z-5500 Surround sound system ( Best 1000 watt system out there), Movies like "The Matrix" in HD (BluRay) really add to the experience. My Suggestion get this TV, its worth it. Also get a Monster 1000HD HDMI cable too. Watching normal DVD's the bandwidth goes to about 7 gbps (Transfer Rate) so its worth it. The Cable is rated for 10.2 Gbps and Beyond.... also its a Life Long Cable.... Monster will give you a new one if the future technology exceeds the present. Dont Skimp on your Movie/HDTV/Gaming experience.

Sony KDL-40W4100

Wow! The TV was more than worth the wait. I was tired of hearing others
talk of having an HDTV and me continuing to watch analog. Awesome unit.
Now I understand why my friends say they will be staying home watching
the college games rather than attending them. The price, name and your
reputation were factors in the purchase. I was able to get it to my home
cheaper than buying in a nearby city. Thanks Cruthchfield!

Excellent TV for the money. Great HD picture. I am connected thru Comcast, but planning to swich to FIOS. Cable thru HDMI, DVD thru component cables. Easy set-up. Simple controls and easy to use remote. Simple to navigate. Picture is spectacular on HD channels, and still very good on regular tv shows. TV is not connected to surround stereo, but the sound is great for daily tv watching in living room. Very happy with this tv so far.

This is an incredible TV. Easy to setup. Great picture. The 120Hz refresh rate really makes a difference. No pixelization evident in sports movements. Very intuitive menus.
