The mylo taps into the Internet from almost any open Wi-Fi hotspot. It also gives you free web access from over 10,000 Wayport Hotspot locations throughout the continental United States, including participating McDonald's® and IHOP restaurants, plus over 600 hotels.
A handy joystick button lets you tab through page contents. You can shrink or enlarge the view with the on-screen control buttons. An included stylus lets you quickly open page links. Use the mylo's keyboard to enter web addresses and passwords — it's backlit for easy use in dim environments.
Stay in touch with your friends
Dedicated icons connect you to major instant messaging services, such as AIM, Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk. There's also a Skype icon as well. If you've subscribed to this over-the-Internet phone service, you can call any other Skype number in the world. The cord that connects your headphones to the mylo features an in-line microphone and talk button so you can carry on conversations.
Snap and upload digital photos
The mylo features a 1.3-megapixel built-in camera. Compose and review your shots on the big, bright 3-1/2" display. A built-in photo editor lets you make simple adjustments your pictures on the fly. You can rotate, resize — even draw lines or circle parts of the image. And when you're done, just go back to "Web" mode to upload the picture to a website.
Movies, music, and podcasts
Store music and videos in the mylo's one-gigabyte embedded memory for on-the-go playback. Listen to your favorite songs while you surf the Internet. You can even access many music download and subscription services, so you're not just limited to the music stored on your player. And the mylo's RSS reader lets you receive automatic updates of your favorite podcasts for even more fresh entertainment options.
