This is my third digital camera, Sony haves made a great camera. At first I dint know where some functiones where, but one you get the hang of it is great!, awsome colors, picture quality is better than expected. you wont find a camara like this for this price!!

This a great camera. An awesome value for the price. Sharp pictures and great color. I bought this to take on the motorcycle with me as it fits easily in my pocket. I am impressed!!

Awesome little Camera!!

I wanted a camera to carry in my purse as my Sony DSC-H9 is too large for that. It ends up, this is my primary camera!! Takes VERY nice pictures. The zoom isnt as powerful as the other camera. But it does the trick.
I especially enjoy the smile detection feature. It makes everyone smile!!!

Its a nice camera specially for users who are novice in photography.
Its very easy to use and is user friendly. An optical zoom of 5 is rarely seen in any other camera in this price range. Will recommend this camera to others.

Impressive for the price

I purchased this Sony DSC-W150 for my wife to replace her previous Sony of only a couple years after it had been dropped one too many times. Overall we are quite pleased with the camera.
The large lens allows plenty of light in. That plus the 5x optical zoom means you can actually use all 8.1 Mps. The steady shot seems to work fabulously, and the face recognition is always nice.
The flash is so much brighter than her previous camera, we have to account for that when shooting at night by taking a step or two back.
The DSC-W150 is a little bit thicker and has a smaller screen than the previous model, but for the extra picture quality its worth it. Buttons are a bit small for manly hands, but fine for the ladies. The buttons and menu are similar enough to other Sonys that the time spent learning them was negligible.
We were slightly disappointed that the battery from the previous camera, though identical in size and voltage, was not compatible with the new.
Again, for the price I don't think you can top this camera right now.
