Overview: The Sony ICF-CD3iP CD clock radio features an array of
functions into a space-saving design which can set on your bedroom's nightstand
or dresser. The unit's hidden sliding iPod dock tray allows you to dock your
compatible iPhone or iPod. The clock radio's dual alarm lets you set two
separate wakeup times with the option of waking up to the music stored on your
iPhone or iPod, your favorite CD or radio station. Additional features include
an AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, a large easy-to-read LCD, and an included remote
control that lets you access all the music on your iPod or iPhone.
Speaker System: The Sony iCF-CD3iP clock radio is equipped with two
1.5"
full-range drivers powered by a 0.7 watt per channel amplifier.
iPod/iPhone Dock: The Sony ICF-CD3iP features a hidden, sliding dock
tray for playback, control, and charging of most iPods and iPhones. The ICF-CD3iP
is "Made for iPod/iPhone compatible" and supports the following iPod/iPhone
model functions (Dec. 2009).

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may
change functionality results. If you download a newer software
version, you may need to reset the device and your iPod/iPhone to
regain functionality. If this doesn't work, you may need to revert
to the older software version or wait until an newer software update
is available.
CD Player: The ICF-CD3iP features a built-in CD player which supports
playback of 12cm or 8cm CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs. The CD player offers the
following playback modes - Normal Play, Single Repeat, All Repeat, Shuffle Play,
and Shuffle Repeat.
AM/FM Tuner: The Sony ICF-CD3iP features an integrated AM/FM tuner.
You can preset up to 20 FM stations and 10 AM stations.
Audio Input: The ICF-CD3iP features a rear-panel 3.5mm auxiliary input
and comes supplied with a 14" minijack cable for connecting an external audio
source to the unit.
Wireless Remote Control: The Sony clock radio comes supplied with an
IR wireless remote control which will operate the ICF-CD3iP and your docked iPod
or iPhone. The supplied remote will control playback and menu controls of your
docked iPod or iPhone. Your iPod'ss and iPhone's controls remain functional when
docked.
Note: The iPod nano (6th gen) only offers basic playback
functions (Play/Pause, Fast-Forward/Rewind, and Next/Previous,
Random/Repeat) from the included remote control.
LCD Display: The unit features a large, easy to read LCD display with
adjustable brightness (High, Middle, or Low).
Note: All iPod information will continue to be displayed on your
iPod's screen.
Dual Alarms: This CD clock radio is equipped with dual alarms with 4
mode operation. You can set the alarm to playback your CD, iPod, radio or the
unit's internal buzzer. You can set each alarm to activate everyday, only on the
week days, or only on the weekends.
Snooze: The unit's Alarm features a Snooze function which turns the
sound of the ICF-CD3iP off but will automatically turn it back on after 10
minutes to 60 minutes depending on the setting.
Sleep Timer: You can fall asleep to the sound of this unit, using its
built-in sleep timer that turns off the ICF-CD3iP automatically after a preset
duration (15, 30, 60, or 90 minutes).
Power Supply: The Sony clock radio operates off of standard household
AC current using the attached AC cord. The unit also features a backup battery
(CR2032) which keeps the clock operating in the event of a power interruption.
