I have never had to deal with the cracked pieces like I have read in other reviews but the only bad thing I have to say is that on one of the ear cups the rubbery lining that covers the ear cup has rubbed off over time. It's not too big of deal since it took about 5 years for it to happen. Overall I love these headphones, but I must say I am a little sceptical with the cracked peices that I have read in other reviews. 6 out of 7 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? But the plastic moveable parts holding the earcups are creaky, providing a less than enjoyable experience. In addition, the foam padding covering material seemed to wear out much too quickly. 27 out of 27 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? I can't say that enough; however, the design of the headphone is poor. Reason I say this is the pivot point of the ear cups is made of cheap plastic that is prone to cracking and breaking where the cups flip up off your head. I would love to replace the ones I have for a new pair, but it looks like even after 3 years, they haven't improved the design of the pivot point. I'll keep the ones I have until their absolutely unusable because as I said, they sound awesome which is the most important quality. 28 out of 29 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
