This 4" round remote comes with an 16.5-foot cable, so you can mount it in a variety of locations. Store your stereo safely inside the cabin and let this IPx7-compliant remote deal with the sun, salt, and spray. Warranty: 1 year. Hands-on research from the Crutchfield Labs (what are the Labs?) Display: The display shows source and mode information, satellite radio information, and RDS and CD text information (if supplied by the head unit). Water Resistant: The remote is water resistant, so it is ideal for use on boats, where a head unit needs to be kept dry, but you need to control it from a damp remote location. Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. Replaced my Sony RM-XM10 remote with this one. Works great and looks better too! Gave it only 4 stars because I've only had it a few weeks but, so far so good. Thanks Crutchfield! Written By Tuner, Gainesville FL on Thursday, May 05, 2011 Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. I upgraded from an older Sony CD w/iPod interface and RMX55 to the newer head unit with the tune tray (DMX MS60) and an RMX60. The iPod control on the head unit is excellent with USB interface speed. The RMX60 ,however, does not display any information in the mode setting or the Playlist name which is troubling since my deck is in the cabin...the older wired remote was slower but did display all the information. Fix those two items and it is a 10, as it is, disappointing is the best I can do. 10 out of 11 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. Crutchfield delivered as usual! Great service. Pretty nice unit. Note: before you cut a 3-1/4" hole in your boat, this unit can control your Ipod, but cannot control playlists, artists etc. So you will be scrolling through 500 or so songs to find what you want. I should have read the specs a little closer. Pros: Nice package. Waterproof. Cons: Big hole to mount it. No "search by" feature 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
