Built-in upconversion (line-doubling) circuitry helps bridge the picture quality gap between standard (480i) TV signals and High Definition signals. You can even set the SAT-HD200 to downconvert digital signals to standard 480i, so they can pass via the composite or S-video outputs for viewing on your current analog TV.
