It's good to own an E-mount camera
One of the big advantages of having a camera that uses Sony's E-mount system is the continued addition of premium lenses from Zeiss. This legendary manufacturer, in partnership with Sony, has introduced yet another "must-have" lens, a standard-length zoom with a constant f/4 maximum aperture that's sure to be on a lot of photographer's wish lists.
With an equivalent focal length of 24-105mm, this is designed to be a daily-use lens, well-suited to the fast-developing shooting opportunities that travel and social events provide. A constant maximum aperture of f/4 throughout the shooting range means this lens is more than up to low-light challenges, while giving you the range to fill the frame with your subject from a distance. And because much of this lens' zoom range is in the sweet spot for portrait photography, the wide aperture will also lend itself to creamy, smooth out-of-focus backgrounds, so what you capture will stand out sharp and clear from electronic screens and printed pages.

This is a fabulous walk around lens. Furthermore the pictures are sharp, and distortion is low. I have owned full frame Canons with L zooms and I can say this combo is very satisfactory when you consider the low weight and size of the lens.
