Clear, quiet and easy to set up. I wanted a receiver for two channel music listening and this suits me to a tee. It runs Klipsch rf 52's and sounds terrific!
Pros: Clarity and soundstage of a much more expensive set-up.
Cons: absolutely none
Very nice little stereo receiver for this price range. Drives four speakers with no problem. Easy to use.
Pros: Easy to connect, terminals well marked, plenty of ports for inputs.
Cons: No complaints, good purchase for the money!
Great receiver for the price
Pros: Easy to set up and use
Very nice product for price
Pros: Great price, easy to use, all the basics
Cons: No cons if you are expecting basic functions
Needed a basic two channel receiver to push a pair of Bose speakers. The Sony STR-DH130 passed with flying colors.
For the past few decades, I've only bought stereo equipment from Crutchfield. Because every component lasts so long, I wasn't even sure they're still in business. But YES! They are! When my 25-year-old receiver started dropping radio broadcasts randomly, I decided it was time to get a new one. I'm old school, and I love my separate stereo components. I chose the Sony STE-DH130 because it was affordable and could accommodate my CD player, and if I decide to hook my TV into the system, it can do that, too. Not long after I searched this receiver, I got an email from Crutchfield saying it was on sale in a big kind of way, so I ordered it then. I am so happy with it! It's smallish, the connections were simple to make, and my radio stations and CDs sound fabulous.
Pros: Easy to connect, accommodates a huge array of components, very affordable.
Cons: None found so far!
Great stereo for the back lanai, fills the space with great sound.
Pros: Choose one from the dent and scratch department, a laugh, couldn't find a scratch or any thing. The box had been opened however all the bits seemed to be there.
A decent stereo receiver. It does everything it promised to do. Good Value. Not high-end, but very good for the price. I would buy it again.
Pros: Good for the money.
Very nice unit with quality sound.
Cons: Need more watts.
Perfect for my needs. Low price, plenty of power and low distortion. It's pushing some 10 year old Bose 201's. It sound excellent at low volume and clean and crisp at volumes loud enough for my next door neighbor to hear. When Bonzo was playing "Moby Dick" (from "Song Remains The Same"), my neighbor came over and asked me if I had a drum set of my own. I told him "No", I have a Sony and a pair of Bose.
Pros: Same as above
I must admit, that the purchase price was a factor, but after setting up, I was not satisfied with the product, which I have since returned. I will, in the future, a denon receiver or a home theater system. your company is a pleasure to deal with
Pros: easy to set up
Cons: performance, not to my satisfaction
The receiver is all as advertised, works perfectly
Pros: Inexpensive, basic receiver
very good product for the price
I've owned Sony products in the past and as always I'm very pleased. This is a solid piece of equipment with controls well placed as one would expect to be seen on higher priced receiver. The size was perfect and output producted a quality sound stage, much more than I expected for the price
Pros: Size, sound and built quality
Easy installation, excellent quality and just what we needed to replace the 40-year old tuner/amp that just plain died. The best part is the improved quality of sound and the value for the price. It's a perfect match for the Sony CD player that we purchased earlier.
Pros: High Tech, quality of sound and ease of operation
My Onkyo receiver went kaput a few years back and have just now replaced it with this Sony. I just wanted something to play some CD's and listen to the radio on my old ginormous Infinity speakers. The sound is incredible and I don't know why I waited so long to purchase. Thanks Crutchfield!
A nice old school receiver. Sounds great & plenty of power. It doesn't have the newer features like subwoofer jacks, Bluetooth, ect. but it does the job at a great price.
Pros: Good sound with plenty of power. Simple to hook up.
Cons: Very basic receiver. Of course if that's what you're looking for then it's not a con.
I needed a simple 2 channel radio for my shop to replace a garage sale special that went south on me. The Sony STR DH 130 met all my needs. Because it has a remote, I was able to mount it eight feet in the air away from all the dust and shavings I generate. Even with the old no name speakers I used with my old radio it sounds great! I'm now back to whistling while I work. I'm no audiophile, but I enjoy good music and the Sony delivers sound with no static or distortion at the reasonable volume I like to listen at. It picks up all the stations in Richmond, about thirty miles away. I'm liking it!
Pros: Great sound, great reception, over all, just what I needed. And Crutchfield delivered in just one day.
Cons: Too many buttons on the remote control for what I'm using the radio for, but tolerable.
This Sony performed perfectly as promised. However, I found I needed more capability than it had. I upgraded to a home theatre unit.
Pros: Simple to use and very easy to install. Very capable performer.
Cons: The manual, typical with Sony, is somewhat difficult to follow.
Purchased to replace a older Sony that died. For the price it does the job very nicely.
Pros: Good price. Sounds good. Easy set up.
Overall, a good buy.
Cons: The remote is cumbersome... And, I can't change the speaker selection with the remote.
Very good system! works perfect!
For the price, this is a good basic product. I was looking for a simple receiver to replace an old one - only needed it to play old CDs. It was simple to set up and does the job I needed it to do.
Pros: Simple installation, good basic product
My 35 year old Sony Amp finally passed on and I needed something to power a CD player, Sat Radio, and enable me to listen to an occasional AM or FM radio broadcast. I realize that time and technology has rendered all of these obsolete, but I'm not ready to catch up just yet. I was looking for something basic and inexpensive to fill an immediate need. This unit does that perfectly. It is inexpensive, simple to install and use, sounds good, and can support other mediums such as a home theater system. The technical advisor at Crutchfield answered my questions clearly and completely, and the package arrived 3 days after purchase, just as advertised. If you are looking for a good, basic tuner/amp at a rock bottom price, you won't go wrong with one of these.
Pros: Excellent price. Good performance. Simple to install and use. Clean uncluttered appearance.
Cons: No balance control. Volume control requires a lot of rotation to adjust sound level up or down.
For the price, I couldn't ask for more. Provides a whole bunch of options to build on and offers the flexibility I wanted to add additional components to my TV set up. As always, Crutchfield delivers.
Pros: A lot of options for additions and a budget friendly foundation.
Cons: master remote is daunting.
I am very satisfied with this product. I don't have much to compare except the great customer service I received at Crutchfield. Anything they carry will see me as a customer.
Just what I expected, delivery was on time also.
Pros: Does what it is suppose to
I got this to replace a receiver outside on my back deck. Works great & sounds fine for what I want it for. I'm partial to Yamaha, but this had a better price since I am using it outside. It is covered to keep out of the elements. Paired with Cambridge Soundworks Outdoor Speakers and a cheap dvd player to play cd's on. Puts out plenty of volume to drown out a neighbors 4 yappy dogs with The Grateful Dead (which she hates).
Pros: Good performance/cost ratio. Plenty of power. Easy use out of box. Fast, reliable service from Crutchfield.
Cons: Can only search for radio stations. Does not appear to have manual tuning. Digital readout for everything. Much prefer older models which have selector knobs & & finer tuner adjustment. I miss the loudness button from years ago.
This is a basic basic receiver. I used it in combo with a sonos controller in order to provide my customer with standard radio options for times when the internet is down. They live in a very rural area with somewhat unreliable internet
Pros: basic and simple
Cons: basic and simple
I bought this unit to use in my workshop.I wanted something cheap and uncomplicaded and i run two older Bose speakers off it. It is nearly perfect for my needs.
Pros: sounds good and looks good. easy to set up.It also picks up a lot of stations with supplied antennas.
Cons: The manual seemed a little confusing at the section of setting presets on the remote.
For the price - it's a good deal. Used in a small room
once I hock up my Sony up to my reel to reel player oh my oh my the sound was so good I love it this was the best birthday present for me
Pros: this receiver is the one to buy
This Sony receiver is very powerful. I am very pleased with its performance. The price of the unit is great and it arrived in perfect condition. It was very easy to hook up and the remote is simple to operate.
Pros: Price and Quality!
Cons: Operation Manual a little confusing in parts.
I just wanted something to amplify a television in my bedroom. It was either this, or two other brands Crutchfield doesn't carry. One was on close out from a local retail store. Never saw an actual close up of the one item in person, the other one on close out has a poor reputation and did not look well made inside. I trust Sony more, and so far, every Sony item I have that is manufactured in Malaysia has performed flawlessly over many years. The unit does a lot. It's all done electronically, every button you push, every knob you turn. The buttons could be better. The unit overall does more than I needed to amplify a bedroom television. I hooked up a Terk FM antenna which helped some. I collect and use many old receivers from the 1970s like the Pioneer SX-1250 and the Kenwood KR-9600. I have two, two-channel receivers from the 1990s that have a much heavier build-quality than this- however, I am pleased with this model for its price. It is well built to specs. I am pleased.
Pros: Small enough to stack in a bedroom. Well built. Versatile- you can re-assign buttons to perform other functions, it has many inputs. 90 watts per channel. Very nice remote. Excellent for the price.
Cons: Cheap feel to the buttons.
Great product at a great price.
Purchased to replace a 1980s vintage Technics SA-206. Was hoping it would last my lifetime...Wanted a basic, quality receiver for music...and this had all the features I needed, was priced well. Other Sony products over the years have performed flawlessly, so I expect the same. Like Crutchfield for order fulfillment, quality service (if needed), and knowing the selection they carry is already pre-selected to deliver value and quality. (could spend eons on other online retailers to arrive at the same decision).
Pros: Easy to setup right out of the box for antennae and external speakers. 5 minutes max to swap my stereo units. Intuitive user interface with dials, push buttons, display, etc... Everything I expected in Sony was evident in the box, manual, unit packaging to protect scratches, all accessories included, etc... I'm not a sound audiophile...but do recognize a quality sound over a tinny/scratchy sound...and the sound is deep/rich. Again, I was looking for a quality basic receiver just for music.
Exactly what I needed. Able to connect my old CD Player and every thing sounds great
Pros: Simple to set up - sounds great
Cons: None that I can think of
Very affordable receiver that delivers a punch of power with wonderful clarity at low to medium volume levels when connected to a good auality pair of speakers.
Pros: Nice balance of tone. Bass levels are nice and do not disrupt the distortion level tones at mid to low high volumes. Affordable price and style make this a very welcoming part to anyone's lower priced stereo.
Cons: High volumes causes noticability to higher distortion ratios.
A good solid stereo receiver that was easy to set up, easy to use and sounds great for a very reasonable price.
Great system which is reliable, easy to use and easy to install! Thanks Crutchfield.
Pros: Ease of use!
Great basic receiver, especially in this price range. I paired this with a set of Polk Audio TSi100 bookshelf speakers and they work great together! Seems like the more you crank it up, the better the package sounds. I may add a sub down the road but for now I'm definitely happy rocking out in my basement workshop!
Pros: Lots of power, good basic unit.
Pros: Sounds Great. Excellent product
Pulls in weak signal effectively. Good sound quality for the price.
An absolute great buy for the price. Didn't need anything fancy. I did purchase a separate Cobra Airwave if we want to connect to a wireless device. Thinking of buying another for vacation home.
Pros: Great sound and price, not bulky or overly heavy, sleek look
Cons: Read the user guide to program preset channels. Not intuitive.
This is my first receiver which I purchased evaluating price versus value. Not being heavily into stereo equipment beyond a good listening experience, this receiver more than fulfills that requirement. The setup was easy, the instructions clear, and I was enjoying the receiver in a short period of time. Paired with Primus speakers recommended by the Crutchfield advisor the sound is very good. I would definitely recommend this receiver for the average buyer.
Pros: Easy setup. High quality. Great sound value for the price.
Cons: None that this neophyte user could discern.
This unit replaced a Sony surround sound unit I had from the 90's. Is sounds great! This a solid deal on a simple 2 channel receiver!
Pros: Inexpensive Sounds Geat
Very good performance and excellent cable hookup features. Plenty of power for my use, especially for the price! The well laid out remote control is a small blessing and time saver too. I'd recommend this product to anyone......thanks Sony!
Pros: Great power! Easy set up! Compact and well designed.
Cons: I can't think of any
Got ready to burn some Christmas music with my 20+ year Sony GX10ES receiver and noticed an awful buzz from it and did not want to bother troubleshooting it so bought this at a good price 'no bells - no whistles' receiver which is perfect for my current needs. Thing is a steal at this price.
Pros: Price and simplicity.
As usual with Sony products, this is a very high quality Receiver/Amp. I have a similar one, seventeen years old, which I now use in my studio. The cost is very affordable and operation is easy....I'm very happy with it!
Cons: The only and very slight complaint I'd voice is that the lettering MIGHT be a bit LARGER....aging eyes, you know....
In-expensive and bullet-proof 2 ch. stereo
Pros: Price, power, a+b channel
Cons: No subwoofer line output
I'm using this for my office PC sound and mp3 playing. It has replaced a 14 year old Sony receiver that died on me. I needed A and B outputs since I've run speaker wires out to the back patio too. In the office I'm using Bose AM3 speakers. So, I didn't need anything fancy or anything more than 2 channel for this usage. One thing that took me by surprise was the "auto off" feature that turns the unit off after a period of time with no input signal. At first I thought there was something wrong. I was glad to see that it was supposed to do that and I have the ability to turn that feature off if I want to. I've been using this new receiver for a couple of weeks now. If it lasts me 14 years like the other one did, I will be happy.
Pros: Cheap and does the job well.
Cons: None at all for my usage.
Really like the unit!
Pros: Very easy to set, hook up
Cons: Should have more controls on face of unit for radio selection .. All must be from remote.
Looking for something simple, but has some middle of the road power here you go.
Pros: Easy use ....... good receiver for the price
The stereo sounds great and I am very happy with this Sony product.
very pleased with this purchase
Just what I was looking for. Works exactly as advertised. Nice receiver for the money.
Pros: Easy set up. Crutchfield had the best price I could find and free shipping.
Cons: I-pod connection should be on the front. Should have 120 v power source on the back for other components.
I needed an amp to power my back yard speakers and this one does the trick! Clear sound, easy to read, and very dependable. It's my third one!
Pros: Great sound for the money
Cons: no extra external power source to control other receivers
I installed one of these in a friend's motorhome and he and his wife absolutely love it. They couldn't believe that a receiver this good could be had at Crutchfield's price point. I already had one in my workshop and was familiar with it so I recommended it to them. This product offers many features and excellent sound for a unit in this price range, and of course Crutchfield is the best dealer out there - PERIOD. Take it from me - you will be pleased with the STR-DH130.
Pros: Great value, plenty of power, easy to use, lots of input flexibility, clean sound
Cons: Remote has a few too many buttons - better too many than not enough!
after a long absence from the world of stereo components (did the sound bar thing) we had missed having rich full music. For the price this is an excellent way back into that wonderful world. Clear sound in a 20 x 20' living room. I realize for the price to good value, but I didn't realize that would miss HD radio. I may try and find a fix for that.
Pros: Great sound at a value price
Cons: those darn dark buttons are near impossible to see without either a mini light or decent natural lighting! but, once remotes been programmed who cares?!
I wanted a straight forward stereo receiver without the surround sound capability. Crutchfield's sale price for this SONY receiver was irresistible so I purchased. In NYC FM reception is tough, but this receiver get high marks for pulling in many stations. Audio quality is quite good: frequency range is natural sounding without any prominence in a particular range of the audio spectrum. It claims to have 20 Hz to 20 Khz bandwidth, but I can't attest to it's low frequency performance because the speakers I have connected are not the greatest at the low end of the spectrum. But for my goals this receiver does the job very well and produces a very natural, balanced and overall listenable sound even at high levels. For the price, and if you don't need or want surround, this is a very listenable stereo receiver.
Cons: None so far.
For the price this unit can't be beat for a standard 2-channel system. Recommend this highly for multiroom speaker system used in conjunction with a push button speaker selector. Has sufficient output without using an amp.
Pros: For the price good 2 channel receiver with good output.
Cons: Interface with IPod or other like device is stereo but still sounds good. Just be careful when inserting stereo 2.5mm connection to ipod. Insert the connection then change inputs to where you made your connection.
This unit is exactly what I expected, and maybe a little bit more. It is a very simple "Old School" receiver/amp, but it gives all the power I need. My main use for this unit is to use at the beach. We rock the beach with home stereo equipment powered by a generator. This amp gave me all the power I needed, even in a constant 20 mph wind. I had to max out the power because of the wind, but it did the job. 90 watts is all I will ever need! Very low distortion.
Pros: Very low distortion. Easy to use. Always use the "Portable" input when using iPhone, iPad, etc. for playing music. Using the other inputs didn't work as well. The Portable input requires a 3.5mm audio cable, not included.
Cons: None really. Great price and it does the job. It's a very simple unit. The FM antenna was pretty weak, so I bought a better one.
This the best for the money. I bought a scratch and dented one and it came brand new. Not one mark on it. Works great and my speakers sound awsome now! Thank you Sony
Pros: Easy to set up. Looks clean and low profile. Sony
Cons: Nothing right now.
So far, so good
Cons: Tuner select on remote goes to am then Fm. wish it was seperate
Looked for a plain receiver with capability of driving two sets of 8 ohm speakers at the same time. Asked Crutchfield advisor about a couple of different models and which one would fit my needs and he selected the Sony model. I very pleased with the receiver and sound great. I have bought the receiver with a 5 cd changer to put in my workshop but never made it there yet.
Pros: Had it hooked up and running in about 15 minutes. Sounds great with very good sound even at mid range and higher without much distortion. Great receiver for the price including free shipping !!!!
This receiver delivers far more than you would expect for the price. The sound quality is just fabulous and perfect for my two speaker system. There is not a better bargain in my opinion than this receiver.
Pros: Great sound, does not consume a lot of energy, and for me it's perfect.
Unit was simple in design and use. Controls were self-evident after reading the instruction manual. 5 stars
Pros: inexpensive, easy to operate
Great receiver for the money!
Cons: There's not an input for an iPod on the front
I only use this for the Fm. It pulls in tons of stations, and sounds GREAT1
Great value and was easy to install!
Pros: Lightweight and simple to operate.
Easy to use and lots of features.Good buy!
This unit replaced a 42 yr. old Sony STR-6045 receiver that gave me good service for a very long time. I like this new one, as it has quite a bit more power, and a "cleaner" sound. Very nice machine for the price. Volume control is a bit weird compared to my old unit, as it's stiffer feeling, and you need to turn it a lot further to get significant change in the volume. Other than that, I really am very satisfied. Good value in a basic stereo receiver!
Pros: Very good, clean sound Plenty of power Easy to use Reasonable cost
Cons: Speaker connections seem a bit cheesy FM antenna is just a piece of wire, but works OK
We are very pleased with our new sony receiver, it is as described and great quality and value!
Bought on sale. Perfect entry level receiver.
Pros: Sony quality at a generic price.
Cons: Reception with included antenna is poor. Purchased with XM satellite radio in mind so not a real issue.
Great receiver for the price. With a good combination of speakers and PSW, the sound compares very good with any other expensive system.
We love to listen to NPR and other stations. We expected to have much improved reception....but we on occasion get a lot of static.....but otherwise...great sound for country western and Hispanic ! I learned from your companies tech person that we could purchase antenna....why not include it with receiver? Great customer service though!
Great product for the money
Does what its supposed to for not a lot of $. Have it with pair of polk rti6 and a Yamaha sub. Sounds good.
Pros: Caught it on a sweet sale!
Cons: None for this price point.
the best choice good price
Wonderful stereo receiver and amplifier. I purchased this primarily to drive my speaker system from the output on my new Samsung TV, which disables the mute/volume controls when speakers are set to external (Stupid). Anyway, the Sony STR-DH130 works perfectly with great sound quality and provides plenty of volume range and mute control available through the remote control. The only feature I miss is the ability to 'balance' the volume from left and right speakers (unless I missed something). My external speakers are self powered with separate volume controls, so not having balance control on the Sony is not an issue, just something I expected. It solves my problem with a super good price.
Pros: Good power to drive speakers, sensitive with good range volume control, well designed remote.
Cons: No balance control of left and right speakers
Great product for the price. Good sound quality, nice looking. As always Sony exceeds expectations. Fast shipping. Excellent Technical support. Great customer service people. Very professional. Price dropped after purchase and they refunded the difference with one quick phone call. I love dealing with Crutchfield.
Pros: best place to buy electronice
Cons: Never had a problem with Crutchfield.
A pretty basic unit but for the price not a bad deal. Nothing at all fancy here so if you are looking for anything special look elsewhere. The AM antenna connection is unusual -- OK if you want to use the supplied loop, but not so convenient if you need a different antenna. The layout of the remote is poor, not as well organized as it should be. Overall audio performance is decent for the price.
Pros: Good price, fairly attractive unit.
Cons: Poor remote control layout. Atypical AM antenna connection.
great amp for the money- Crutchfield rules!!!!1 fre shipping
Pros: price- sound- size
This is a great receiver buy for the money. It works well and is easy to use
Pros: puts out great sound
For the price this is a excellent receiver, especially the extra features it has.
Great stereo. I used in a new nook over my fridge behind a flat screen TV to power two ceiling speakers. Great sound. Besides TV, we simply like listening to the radio.
This Receiver is everything I was trying to find without breaking the bank. I went through two others from another retailer that were great till they went out within a month. I have a Sony 300 disc player and four Sony large bookshelf speakers and it has plenty of power and sounds really great. Was well worth it.
Pros: Easy layout and functions
Cons: Not as loud with my satellite radio.
Great product for the value! I bought it to power four speakers two pioneers with a eight inch woofer that are about 40 years old and two newer bookshelf speakers in my bedroom. Powers all of that great! The Sony quality is evident in the build quality and finish. Love the remote I was using a 30 year old receiver before this and I expect this one to last another 30 years.
Pros: Quality, Price, Value, Build Quality, Finish, & A name brand you can trust
Cons: Nothing could not be better
As another reviewer said " Good receiver for a garage or patio". The sound quality is only fair at best, but at this price point you cannot expect much more. It works as advertised.
Pros: Simple 2 Channel Reciever
loved the quality sound. Finally purchased the receiver I have been seeking all along.
Pros: It was easy to plug all the components I wanted to put in.
Excellent receiver for the price!
For $150 it's perfect. Plenty of power. I use it to drive two pair of outdoor Yamaha speakers. The only complaint that I have it that you cannot change between the two pair using the remote control. I have a pair on channel A on one deck and a pair on channel B on another deck. I have to go to the receiver and manually switch between channels. You can have both channels on at the same time too, but again, it has to be changed at the receiver.
Pros: Bang for the buck
Cons: Cannot switch between speaker channels on the remote
I bought this as an extra FM receiver for my flat screen tv to get better audio. I like the receiver but was surprised the unit doesn't get the HD channels.
Pros: Good cheap fm receiver
Cons: No hd channels.
Lots of power, nice simple stereo receiver.
Pros: Just right for listening to 2-channel music.
Cons: Speaker wire connections should be upgraded
Bought to replace an aging SONY, drives my Warfdale tower speakers with great range...was just what I was seeking and at a great price. As always, Crutchfield's delivery was spot-on and their follow-up is excellent.
Pros: Low cost Great sound
This is a wonderful receiver with absolutely excellent sound.
Pros: Great, clear sound.
Cons: No phonograph input.
Excellent price and sound
One of the few Hi-Fi receivers left on the market, purchased to power outdoor and/or bedroom speakers. Excellent product, works very well for our intended use.
Pros: Price, availability, able to select A speaker channel, B speaker channel or both.
I bought this to put in my sun room for my patio and the sun room. Not fancy but it's perfect for what I needed, tunes and the ball game in the back yard.
Pros: Good for a "not fancy" hi tech unit. Great for the garage or patio.
I think if this as the Toyota Camry of stereo receivers (maybe Lexus ES350?). Not top of the line, not a bunch of extra features, maybe not the most exciting receiver out there. But it works perfectly, does everything you need it to do, and is extremely well-priced. And if my experience with other Sony products is any indication, it'll last forever. Obviously this isn't a high-end receiver. It you're an audiophile, this likely isn't the receiver for you. That said, THD on this unit -- while higher than a more expensive receiver -- is still really low. I doubt any difference can be detected by a non-expert listener. I was contemplating a $400 Yamaha unit, but decided it wasn't worth the extra cost. Glad I did. This is a rock-solid, value receiver. If you just need a basic stereo receiver, this is the one to get. Only drawback is no phono input. I am using this to stream digital audio via AirPort express, and I have it coupled with an Audioengine D1external DAC. An argument could be made a more expensive unit that comes with DAC/phono is worth the extra cost, if you need those features. If not, this is just a great value. PS -- it'll drive two sets of speakers simultaneously, which was important for me.
Pros: great value, drives two sets of speakers simultaneously.
Cons: no phono input, no DAC... but who would expect those features at this price point?
This is a quality basic product. I only needed stereo outputs, and not home theater. This provides what I need at a good value.
Pros: Stereo outputs, 4 outputs, value priced
Cons: Is what it is.
Great product for the price, went to a big box store with guys in blue shirts first....they had very little to offer and price was over $500-1,000. This receiver is perfect for what I was looking for, ability to have multiple zones, inexpensive, good product....is a Sony, have bought a lot of their products and they haven't let me down yet.
This an excellent value if you are looking for a sound source to drive a set of speakers for a specific dedicated use. I used it to power a couple of outdoor Yamaha's on my front porch/patio for both entertaining purposes and personal enjoyment. The receiver has plenty of power for my uses and has excellent spacial separation which I don't see in a lot of the modern home theater receivers. It kind of takes me back to when the sound of the music was much more important than the ability to recreate sound affects.
Pros: Good clean sound.
Cons: Tuning to different stations could be simpler. I don't so much like auto tuning but it does have the capability to override this. You just have to read the owners manual to find out how.
I purchased this receiver to play my Bose outdoor patio speakers with Sirius Radio connected. It sounds great, easy to use, and I can use the remote on the patio for volume control. I have not tried it cranked up but this was not the intended purpose. It's plenty loud to hear perfectly throughout the whole back yard.
Pros: Simple to use, looks nice and sounds great!
Cons: None so far.
This is a simple, good-sounding, high quality unit for a great price. I'm very happy with the product.
Pros: Functionality: Price paid ratio is excellent.
Cons: None, really. if you're just buying a simple receiver to control your audio components in the house, it's perfect.
I only set it up for CD music, so it was easy to set up! Easy to operate. It has a nice style. I have a Sony DVD/VCR combo which is excellent also! I have two minor complaints! The first complaint is the manual doesn't show how to bend up the AM loop antenna. The second complaint is I don't understand the instructions on being able to use the receivers remote to also control the Sony DVD/VCR!!
Pros: A very good product that I recommend !!
Cons: As I explained above about the instructions!
Priced great sounds amazing!
I had been lookinig for a quality performance, reasonably priced, receiver to replace a larger, older model, Pioneer system. I located the Sony STR-DH130 online and began comparing product reviews and seller feedback. Crutchfield won over all. Crutchfield offered a competitive price, extended warranty, and FREE shipping to Alaska which is something rarely offered by lower 48 companies. I received the Sony STR-DH130 in a matter of days. The setup installatiion was quick and the sound quality excellent.
Pros: I am pleased with the appearance and hassle free setup installation of this compact multi-functional unit. Over the years, I have learned to rely on Sony. Once again, Sony has proven to be superior while affordable.
Cons: I have not been able to setup the AM/FM Radio due to poor reception in my area (Alaska). Perhaps with more time and patience, I will find a solution. For now, I'm grateful for the quality of music that fills my cabin.
This receiver was a gigantic improvement over my old RCA. For the money I couldn't be more satisfied it does everything I want it to do and more.
Pros: I'm very happy with the sound and the unit as a whole.
Cons: I don't have any at this time.
I received this shipment quickly and the packaging is excellent. Zero damage found on the package. I will definitely buy again.
Specifications were everything as described. Shipping was excellent and on schedule. Crutchfield, as always, is highly recommended.
Pros: Nice & simple. Very good entry level stereo receiver. Has everything that I need.
Cons: none so far
Perfect for the money.
Pros: Every thing you need for a entry level stereo.
Cons: Non for the money.
This product is exactly what I was looking for for my shop area. Easy to setup and operate.
I have always liked Sony for audio/video electronics, so it was no surprise to me to find this stereo receiver to work as well as it does. 32 FM presets are more than enough to ensure all my favorite stations have a preset. With my Sony phonograph, I can finally listen to my albums they way the music contained is meant to be heard.
Pros: It works as stated, it is easy to use, and it's a Sony.
Cons: None found.
My 20+ year old Techiques "close to top of the line" receiver finally went into Stand By and wouldn't come out. That. and the fact that one of the "B" speaker channels was gone made me start a search for a replacement. This receiver is used for working out (w/ headphones), playing CD's or radio or whatever when we play ping pong, and was hopefully going to push speakers in my garage/wood shop (and all right, I'll admit it, it also makes my XBox games sound GREAT). It's perfect. exactly what i wanted at the price I wanted to pay. It's pushing two maranz 3 way towers on A and two Bose 501s on B. Both sound excellent. Head phones work great. I highly recommend for an everyday work horse receiver. If you are looking as an audiophile, and are seeking top of the line components, seek elsewhere. If you are looking for a steady, good sounding unit to push everyday music or other things, it's well worth the sticker price.
Pros: Everything about the unit.
Cons: The ONLY drawback so far is that you cant have headphones AND speakers going at the same time. For a drummer like me, that's kinda important to my wife who cant hear the music now, only my pounding :0)
Great 2 channel receivre. crisp clear deliver. no feed back no background noise ample slection inupt for anything. Drives my bose 301 very efficently. Easy set up good response. Remote control controls everything Would def buy another one. Crutchfield deliver amazing less than 36 hours. Free shipping Great service. Very very pleased with Crutchfield.
This purchase was made to replace my beloved 40 year old Kenwood 5340 Quad Receiver. This was easy to hook up to my Bose speakers and the remote works great. I have it powering my Kenwood CD player and the sound quality is crystal clear. This is a Great Product and I hope it lasts at least for 10 years.
Pros: Great Sound Quality
bass is good not over booming. I'm 64 and dont like [BOOM BOOM BOOM] works well on directv needed to sent the sound to my patio. The sound great while smoking a good cigar and drinking a really good ALE.
Pros: simple hook up to DirectV
Cons: for what I wanted NONE
This amplifier was what I needed to replace a 19-year-old NAD stereo amp that I've been using with my Sirius satellite radio. I didn't need all the bells and whistles this unit has, but for the $150 price, who can complain? I was looking for an amplifier that could receive and amplify the Sirius signal, then send it to the two sets of speakers I have, one in my office and one in a separate room. The STR-DH130 does that in a simple click of one button. My only complaint is that the part of the display that shows which room has been selected is very tiny, probably like a 2-point font would be on a computer. That wouldn't be a problem for someone with young eyes, but to my 72-year-old eyes, it's a different story.
Pros: Does what I need, at a reasonable price.
Cons: I wish the size of the letters in the display could be larger.
Everything I wanted easy to install the shipping time was amazing! Will def buy from them for all my future audio needs
I bought this receiver as a gift for my friend. He has never had a receiver and he really liked it. I have used plenty of these and I have to admit that it is worth it's price. I will also review it on http://thestereoreview.com
It is not easy now a days to find an electronic device that is designed for audio. Most devices are designed for home theatre 5.1 or 7.1. For the price, the sound quality is fantastic and setting it up was also very easy.
This receiver meets my needs. It's basic but I primarily wanted a receiver to play my Sirius through and it works well for that. one down side is the lack of speaker balance control.
Pros: Cost, Simplicity
Cons: No speaker control to balance the sound
Perfect basic receiver.
Pros: Very good sound. My last Sony receiver lasted 30 years.
Cons: So far none
I use this unit when I need sound outside. I use both the A & B output at all times with no issues. This has been a great system since I don't need the full theatre surround sound dynamics all the time. Even though there is not a sub output I pull off the low signal using a filter and drive 2 subs (additional amp). All in all it is a great little system. This unit has also replaced my old garage stereo, no more static.
Pros: Solid, basic system
Cons: No sub output
Always a pleasure working with Crutchfield. I needed an inexpensive receiver for my garage and this one is perfect. Hard to find one without all the bells and whistles so this fit the bill....plus I received the order in only 2 days and didn't pay for shipping!
simple, no frills piece of equipment with clean sound and plenty of power. I needed to replace the stereo in my garage and at 150 this worked out perfect. thank you Crutchfield.
Because I already have a pre-amp, this was a good purchase for me. Not a lot of features, but plenty for me. Still, I have yet to figure out how I can route the TV sound through my speakers, but everything else works perfectly.
Cons: I would like a more detailed owner's manual.
This modest receiver is just the ticket for providing nice background music for our back porch. It's driving a small pair of Infinity speakers which may have either local radio broadcasts or iPod music streaming though them. It'll get plenty loud enough to hear the ballgame while working in the yard. If you have a small interior space or modest sized speakers to drive, this receiver might be the solution for you, too. If you crank it up it'll rock.
Pros: Fair price, Nice remote control, Easy to set up
A great out of the box, simple to hook up, easy to use stereo.
Pros: Simple to use
Cons: If you purchase this unit for simple hook up of speakers, there are no cons

Joel, I am using my receiver in a sheltered outdoor patio setting and like you was looking for a simple two channel set-up (seems to be hard to find these days). I like good sound and the system works well for my use. I have not used it indoors and as such cannot compare it to other systems I have owned. [ JEFFREY R Apr 05, 2016 ]
This amp will serve your needs very well. It has a"a nice smooth sound" and you can adjust your bass and treble very easily. If you want to blast your sound, it can handle it, and at low volume everything is still crisp and clean. I've had mine for 3-4 years and am quite happy with it. [ Susan Apr 05, 2016 ]
I am using this amp in my shop and it does an outstanding job. I use the Aux input a lot with my phone's music and the receiver has plenty of power. I would buy again. [ MICHAEL L Apr 05, 2016 ]
We use this unit to drive two sets of outdoor speakers on our patio and pool areas. Sounds great, plenty of power even for outside use. Never had any trouble with it, and I'm not the kindest to my stereo equipment. I like loud. I'd spend that extra money on nice speakers. [ JOSEPH Apr 04, 2016 ]
Joel: The amp is smooth and solid. As long as it has enough power for your speakers, it will be fine. It's a SONY. Enjoy. [ EDWARD Apr 04, 2016 ]
I would always go for a receiver with pre-amp built in. I have friends who use external ones and experience lots of noise from the electrical supply. [ JOSEPH Apr 04, 2016 ]
This model dose not offer a built-in phono pre-amp for connection of a turntable. If your turntable does not feature a built-in pre-amp of it's own, you can use an external one to connect it to any of the available stereo RCA audio inputs on this receiver: http://www.crutchfield.com/g_50500/Phono-Preamps.html?tp=204 I hope that helps! This depends largely on what you consider modestly priced, and the type of speakers you are looking for. That said, the Polk TSi100 speakers could be a good match for a small system: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107TSI100B/Polk-Audio-TSi100-Black.html?tp=186 [ Jeff Jan 29, 2016 ] Staff
Yes, one of the menu operations on the remote allows you to balance the speakers. I've never used it because factory preset of balanced sperakers works for me. See p 26 of the booklet if you have it, under Using the Setting Menu. It says 1 press AMP MENU button 2 use up/dwn arrows (1 db steps) then press the center target button 3 press return. Hope you can make it work! [ ANNA MARIE Jan 09, 2016 ]
Ted, I have looked for a way to shift the sound from right to left, but there is no way of doing that. However, I have found no need to have it, as well. [ MARIO Jan 09, 2016 ]
Yes. There are plus and minus buttons for both bass and treble, on the bottom front right of the unit. [ Susan Jan 09, 2016 ]

Not knowing what thpe of antenna wire you have makes this question difficult to answer, but the unit does have both FM(coax) and AM antenna connections. You can look at a picture of the back of the unit online to see if your antenna has the appropriate connector. [ Steven Dec 06, 2015 ]
Yes. The button on the left below the power switch controls speakers. Pushing it sequentially selects A, B, A+B, and off. The selection shows in small letters on the left of the LCD screen. Note that speakers are off if headphones are plugged into headphone jack. [ FRANCIS F Nov 17, 2015 ]

I don't know. [ TERRY Aug 31, 2015 ]
I do not know. Mine are wired. There is no special hook up for wireless [ DAVE Aug 31, 2015 ]
Unfortunately, this receiver doesn't have bluetooth capability, which is required for wireless speaker operation. You can, however, buy a bluetooth adapter, generally for less than $100. Such adapters can have limited range, so may not work for you depending on speaker placement relative to the receiver/adaptor. Hookup and signal pairing of a bluetooth adaptor can be a little tricky, so you might be wise to purchase from an electronics store where a salesperson can walk you through it. [ Steven Aug 30, 2015 ]
Answer is no. Here is a paragraph from the owners manual. A/B Speaker Switching: The STR-DH130 features A & B speaker outputs which allows 4 speaker connection so you can run a pair of speakers in two different rooms of your home. The stereo receiver allows you to select which pair of speakers you wish to play or play back both of them. The A & B speaker outputs are wired in parallel. The stereo amplifier supports 8 to 16-ohm speakers." [ THOMAS Aug 30, 2015 ]
I bought this product as a gift. Have not used the item. Suspect that this a rating of peak power versus rms power. Do a internet search on peak power versus rms power. Will provide you with the difference. [ Walter Aug 05, 2015 ]
My receiver indicates 90 watts. by the way I'm very happy with the sound and performance and ease of use. So easy my wife can operate it. [ BRUCE Aug 02, 2015 ]
Yes you can! There are two ways to do this. You can use a stereo mini-plug cable to connect to the "Portable" input on the back of the Sony STR-DH130, or use a stereo mini-plug adapter cable to stereo RCA jacks to an available input on the back of the receiver. Both ways will work fine. I use both as I have an iPod connected as well as a MP3 player part of the time. Be sure to set volume level high enough to provide a strong input level for amplification. [ MARK Jul 23, 2015 ]
Yes you can! I use a stereo mini-plug to RCA cable adapter to connect my iPod or MP3 player. Just select an unused RCA stereo input on the back of the Sony STR-DH130 for your connection, and connect the stereo mini-plug to your MP3 player headset connection. Just be certain to turn the volume up high enough on your MP3 player to fully enjoy your player. Then enjoy. [ MARK Jul 23, 2015 ]
Yes [ MATHEW Jul 23, 2015 ]
It does have a plug to connect a mp3. Works with my Ipod, and walkman [ DAVE Jul 22, 2015 ]
Yes, if the output of the mp3 player is analog audio. [ JOHN Jul 22, 2015 ]
The minimum recommended impedance for this receiver is 8-ohms. Using a lower ohm rating speaker could result in damage to the receiver. I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to quick discuss the features you are looking for and then help you find a receiver that will work with your speakers. [ Jeff Jun 12, 2015 ] Staff
Rich I have this reciever in my garage and run it through 2 old school pioneer speakers with 12 woofers 6" mids and 1" tweeters aloNg with 2 smaller Sony cabinet speaker. It recieve pushes these speakers very well [ BRETT B Mar 25, 2015 ]
The short non technical answer is that this receiver will work perfectly for your application. Some precautionary sidenotes would include saying that just about any receiver can harm just about any set of speakers regardless of power ratings. Yes, matching power output with power handling is ideal but simple over or under powering of speakers will do no harm. It's when the amplifier is asked to do something that it can't, known as "clipping" that harms speakers. For instance, "blowing out your last set of speakers" probably had more to do with trying to work the receiver too hard than a power rating mismatch. If you hear "dirty" sound- distortion, anything not crisp and clear, turn the volume down, adjust bass down, etc... or speaker damage will result again. If distortion is something that happens often, consider adding a subwoofer to take the work load off of the smaller speakers. They were not designed to reproduce low frequencies and struggle to do so. Good luck! [ BRYAN Mar 25, 2015 ]
It's possible but not probable. I use mine to power a couple of small Yamaha outdoor speakers and it handles the job nicely. [ DANNY Mar 25, 2015 ]
Hi Rich, I wish I could help you but I'm not tec enough. It is perfact for me,(2 indore speakers indoor and 2 outdoor) and use in any combonation. and more valum I can use. Ken [ KEN Mar 25, 2015 ]

You should be able to connect to a BT speaker system that includes a transceiver (to send the signal to remote BT speakers). However, this unit does not have BT built in, so you can't connect directly to a BT speaker. [ ALEX R Mar 21, 2015 ]
I guess it depends on the BR speaker you want to use. This unit has RCA inputs and outputs, as well as speaker-level outputs. So if your BT speaker is compatible with RCA, you should [ ALEX R Mar 21, 2015 ]
Stereo means 2 independent channels so they have to have 2 independent power amps. Look up and get a "padder" volume control for the other room. A "padder" is a combination rheostat that varies volume while keeping impedance to the amp contant. [ FRANCIS F Nov 17, 2015 ]
Yes [ EDWIN Mar 18, 2015 ]
Yes. I have the second channel running to a sub that has it's own amp. Just adjust the volume on the second channel. Be careful to start at zero on the second amp as the first one acts as a pre-amp. If you can figure out why every time I want to power the amp I have to first unplug it for a few seconds, let me know. Thanks [ WAYNE Mar 18, 2015 ]
You will need two units. The two channels share the same volume knob. [ JON Mar 18, 2015 ]
It will work fine with 8 ohm speakers, or 16 ohm speakers. Just don't use 4 ohm speakers that are for car audio running on 12volts. [ FRANCIS F Nov 17, 2015 ]
I run 3 pairs of speakers using a splitter and find no problems. They are outdoor speakers surrounding a pool and there is more than enough volume and fidelity to get the neighbors attention. The kids have a volume curfew [ BRENT Jan 31, 2015 ]
Not too bad but does wash out a bit at high volume,we use this as a garage unit [ DAN Jan 18, 2015 ]
You should have no problem with 2 sets of speakers. I have 3 of these stereos in 3 different shops I have and run 2 sets of speakers on them 10 hours a day without any problem. Since I run them all dave I do have a small fan on top of the stereo to keep it cool. [ CHARLES Jan 18, 2015 ]
If your table has pre amp built in, you should be able to connect with rca plugs into a regular input such as cd or tv. The signal gets amped by the table before going into the receiver. Low-level would be an rca input if that helps. [ JOSEPH Apr 04, 2016 ]
I didn't connect to a turn table but what stumped me when hooking it up was the switch that controlled which speakers were on. Example a&b ,a , b or none Good luck.... Hope this helps. [ VINCENT Jan 05, 2015 ]
I have two of these. They're being used with speakers rated at less than 90 watts. Both receivers have done a very good job. As long as the sound is clean (no hisses, pops, etc.) the receiver should perform flawlessly. The number of watts an amp/receiver produces usually isn't the issue; it's the distortion that can be caused by some audio recordings and/or components. [ VICTOR Nov 14, 2014 ]
If you're worried that this will overpower your speakers, you have no worries. Receiver power ratings are often inflated by manufacturers. I think you will be fine. [ CHRISTOPHER P Nov 12, 2014 ]
Tommy, I think you'll be just fine, this receiver isn't that bad of a boy to raise Cain with those speakers.i have mine in my garage with some baby PolkAudio speakers and allis good. Good luck, Steve [ STEVE Nov 11, 2014 ]
I haven't had any issue with the product. I also bought the Niles RS6SI Pro speakers and they perform great outdoors. Hope this helps [ VINCENT Nov 10, 2014 ]
I think the 90 watt is overrated. You should be fine. By the way it does not have a subwoofer output. [ JAVIER Nov 10, 2014 ]
Yes. Am & FM [ CHARLES A Aug 19, 2014 ]
I dont think it will, I have never tried that but I dont believe its that high tech [ STEVEN Aug 17, 2014 ]
I have not tried ,but I don't think so [ DAN Aug 16, 2014 ]
No, this receiver do not receive HD broadcast. It is a basic stereo system only for two speakers. [ JOFFRE W Aug 16, 2014 ]
Sorry to answer late but no, you cannot attach a powered subwoofer to this stereo receiver. It a decent little stereo as long as your speakers do not require very much power. Crutchfield has great front and back pictures of all their receivers. If you look closely at the back there will be a connection label: pre-amp. It is often purple and this is where you would plug in a subwoofer. Hope this helps. Hopefully you got your answer before buying in case you were looking for a receiver with sub pre-amp ability. Also! This might be too much info but stereo receivers often don't have subwoofer attachment because people often attach large speakers to them which have subs built into them. Have a good one! :) [ MICHAEL D Aug 02, 2014 ]
Nelson: I have a Kliptsch subwoofer. Can't see the model number but it was expensive and has a very convenient 'screen' on the top to adjust volume for music, movies etc. In any case yes, I do have a subwoofer and it works fine. Bill [ BILL Aug 02, 2014 ]
A sub can't be hooked up with this receiver Larry. [ STEVE Jul 30, 2014 ]
Only if it is a subwoofer that has a built in crossover and accept speaker level inputs. The only outputs on this are for 4 speakers - left and right on both A and B channels. [ JON Jul 29, 2014 ]
Since I do not use subwoofers with the Sony STR-DH130, I cannot answer with direct experience. In my opinion, to avoid sound distortion (clipping) and/or power transistor failures a highly efficient and/or self powered subwoofer might work with this amp. Given a choice, I would go with a the highest power amp I could afford as subwoofers need significant amounts of power even at modest listening levels. My "opinion" suggests that this 90 watt amp, while providing remarkably exceptional fidelity at modest volume levels, might be overstressed by subwoofers. Sorry I could not offer you direct experience with your question. [ NELSON C Jul 29, 2014 ]
I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: We go by the numbers provided by the manufacturer in terms of output and that model is rated at 90 watts per channel at 8 ohms. I hope that helps. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. [ Krissy May 16, 2014 ] Staff
What type of add on do I need to get WI fi [ James Aug 29, 2014 ]
I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: If you hook up speakers that have a lower impedance than the recommended Ohm rating on the amp, it creates a potential for overheating and ruining the amp. These speakers could be wired in a way that would allow you to use that amp, however you would lose a lot of control for fading and stereo L/R sound, as the speakers would be wired together in series to create a 12 ohm load. This will also drop the power output on the amp significantly. The best case scenario, in order to retain the full fading and controls, would be to jump into an amp that has the stability needed to support that lower impedance. The first one I found was the Onkyo TX-8020. This is a great amp as well, although a little higher in price, it will give you of the same features. I listen to my iphone using a cable that goes from stereo headphone plug and splits to rca. [ THAD Mar 09, 2014 ]
I think so, but have not tried it yet. [ SCOTT H Mar 09, 2014 ]
I bought a cable that has the 3.5 mm headphone jack on one end and the red and white audio cables on the other end. The cable is so inexpensive that I just leave it permanently plugged in to the back and ran out to the top of my entertainment center. I simply plug my iPhone in and change the source. [ JON Mar 09, 2014 ]
I do not use an iPhone so I cannot answer the question based on direct experience. However, an internet search indicates connecting an iPhone to a stereo amp should not be a problem. A cable with a connector to the iPhone with two standard male phono plugs should be used to connect to the amp. This type of cable is not uncommon and is available commercially. Crutchfield may offer the above cable or direct you to a source. Do not plug the iPhone cable into the "phono" jack on the amp as this input is not designed for iPhone use. The other inputs should be fine. I recommend starting with the the lowest volume (iPhone and Amp) and increasing listening volume on both units alternatively and SLOWLY until a satisfactory volume results so as not to overload your amp and speakers.. Hope the above helps. [ NELSON C Mar 09, 2014 ]
David: You can connect a cd player. I don't know anything about wireless headphones, call them. PS, it sounds great. [ GERARD Mar 05, 2014 ]
Sure. Five input options. CD will work fine with own power source. Not sure how your wireless headphones and the associated signal receiver are designed to operate. The unit''s headphone jack (/4") is the only other "audio out" option beyond the speaker output plugs (two sets) in the rear. There is no USB port. [ LINDLEY Mar 05, 2014 ]
You certainly can attach a CD player. I think the wireless headphones is a no, but if they connect through a gadget that plugs into the receiver, could be a yes. The receiver itself does not have wireless or bluetooth capability to the best of my knowledge. [ KEVIN M Mar 05, 2014 ]
Yes ,we have a cd player hooked to ours, wireless headphones not sure but it does have a aux out jack on the front. [ DAN Mar 05, 2014 ]
Yes you can connect a cd player using rca cables. I think you can connect wireless headphones but it would depend on what type of connection they require for the wireless transmitter. [ TYLER Mar 05, 2014 ]

Can a remote extender be used with this model? I would like to get a receiver to connect to my outdoor speakers. Keeping the receiver indoors and rurunning a remote extender through the wall to control it while outside. [ jeffw Aug 25, 2014 ]
We have not received any answers from other customers on your question. I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your question. [ Jeff Feb 05, 2014 ] Staff
Hello Erin, most modern receivers do not have mono outputs. The best way to have decent sound out of a single speaker would be to use a dual voice coil speaker in that location. This receiver would work in such an application. That way you are running true stereo signal to a single speaker that is capable of playing both channels. [ BRYAN Jan 10, 2014 ]
It does not, but if thats the only speaker you're using you can wire the 2 red speaker terminals, and the 2 black speaker terminals together for mono operation and send them to the speaker [ BRIAN G Jan 03, 2014 ]
Can't help you Mark, I'm not "tetchy" enough to answer that. I use mine for n am/fm receiver only. Sorry.. [ STEVE Dec 27, 2013 ]

Yes, an external equalizer can be connected via the tape in/out loop. But, all components you want to be affected by the equalizer must be connected to the equalizer. [ VICTOR Dec 26, 2013 ]
