Balanced Armature Drivers: The Sony XBA Series Bluetooth in-ear
headphones (XBA-BT75) are outfitted with Sony's newly developed Balanced
Armature driver units engineered for crisp, balanced sound of incredible depth
and precision. Infused with premium audio technology, even the most subtle
musical nuances are delivered with tremendous clarity and detail. Compared to
conventional dynamic drivers, Balanced Armature drivers deliver crystal-clear
vocals and booming bass with impressive depth. Plus, the micro-sized, full range
driver comes precision tuned by Sony engineers to evenly reproduce a broad
spectrum of high to low frequency response for an incredibly balanced audio
Noise Isolation Design: Because Balanced Armature drivers
sport an ultra compact design for a smaller overall form factor, they slip
easily inside the ear for a snug, more natural-feeling fit. The result is
reduced ambient noise and limited sound leakage.
Multiple Ear Tips: The Sony XBA Series Bluetooth in-ear
headphones come with 3 sizes of silicone ear tips (s/m/l) to ensure a
tailored fit that further maximizes overall sound quality and comfort.
Over-The-Ear Loop: The XBA-BT75 in-ear headphones are sure
to stay in place and keep up with your pace thanks to the adjustable
over-the-ear hangers that fit behind your ear.
Built-in Bluetooth: Built-in Bluetooth technology lets you free
yourself from cables and cords. The Sony XBA-BT75 Bluetooth headphones allow you
to take hands-free calls or wirelessly listen to music from your compatible
Bluetooth-enabled device without having to plug it in. Sporting a groundbreaking
box-free design, the ultra compact earpieces provide greater comfort and a more
discreet look. In order to use Bluetooth wireless technology, your phone or
other mobile device must also be Bluetooth compatible and be able to interpret
certain profiles. The Sony XBA-BT75 is Bluetooth version 3.0+EDR (Enhanced Data
Rate) certified for higher quality transmission (2 Mbps) with less interference. These
headphones are compatible with the following Bluetooth Profiles:
- Hands-Free Communication: HFP (Hands Free Profile), HSP
(Head Set Profile)
- Audio Streaming: A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile), AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).
Note: Your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or other device must be
paired with the XBA-BT75 headphones before hands-free operation. This
unit can be paired with up to 8 devices. Due
to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices
may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features
when used with the Sony XBA-BT75.
Hands-Free Communication: The Sony XBA-BT75 in-ear
headphones support Bluetooth hands-free communication (HFP/HSP) for your
Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. The integrated multi-control button of the XBA-BT75 can be used
to answer an in-coming call or end a call. A ring-tone will be heard through the
headphones during an incoming call. The XBA-BT75's integrated omni-directional
microphone lets you carry on your side of the conversation, while listening to
the caller's voice through the earphones.
Note: You will still need to make outgoing call from your mobile
phone's keypad or touchscreen. Once you have dialed the number from your
phone, the call will automatically switch to the Sony Bluetooth headphones.
Wireless Audio Streaming: The Sony XBA-BT75 headphones
support wireless audio playback (AD2P) and control (AVRCP) of a Bluetooth
enabled audio player or smartphone. The Bluetooth headphones will be able to
control basic playback functions of your Bluetooth device's stored music; such
as Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track, and Fast Forward/Rewind (via the integrated
multi-control button). The XBA-BT75 also
supports audio streaming of music apps (such as Pandora, iHeartRadio, SiriusXM,
Last.fm, Rhapsody, or Slacker); but without control. You will continue to use
your Bluetooth enabled smartphone to view and control streaming music apps.
Note: When receiving a phone call while listening to music, the
music audio pauses and the ring-tone is heard through the headphones.
Rechargeable Batteries: The Bluetooth headset and included
carrying case contain rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries (3.7V), which should be
charged before using for the first time. A fully charged battery lasts up to 3.5
hours (continuous) or 400 hours (standby).
Charging Case: The included carrying case also doubles as a
portable battery charger, so you can fully charge the Bluetooth in-ear
headphones on the go. Simply plug the supplied USB cable between the charging
case and a free USB (type-A) port on your computer. A full charge takes
approximately 2.5 hours.
