The XBA-BT75 combines great sound with versatility: you can control your music and your phone, all without the burden of cumbersome cables tugging at your ears. Keep your phone safely tucked away in your pocket or bag while the XBA-BT75's Bluetooth connection lets you wirelessly stream music right to your ears. When your phone rings, the music pauses automatically, and calls are easily answered with a simple push of the earpiece button. The tiny built-in microphone keeps these headphones incredibly small while keeping you in touch and in control.
Balanced armature technology: compact and uncompromised
Bluetooth is not just for one ear anymore. Enjoy uncompromised stereo sound in a remarkably small headphone thanks to Sony's balanced armature technology. Unlike dynamic drivers in typical headphones, the XBA-BT75's micro drivers use a pivoting magnetic arm to generate crystal-clear full-range sound in a compact design. The result is a great-sounding little headset that won't leave you fiddling with a clunky headband or getting caught up in dangling wires.
Comfort and convenience
Not all ears are created equal. Sony gives you lots of options to make sure these headphones fit comfortably while remaining securely in your ears. Adjustable ear hangers and three pairs of interchangeable ear tips ensure a snug fit while sealing in sound for distraction-free listening. The unobtrusive neck cord features a built-in remote for volume and track control. Or simply use it to drape the earpieces around your neck when not in use.
Charge your headphones anywhere
Keeping the XBA-BT75 headphones charged up and ready for action is a snap. The included carrying case features a built-in rechargeable battery. Just secure the headset in the case, snap the lid shut, watch the red indicator light glow, and charging has begun. Or plug the case into your computer using the supplied USB cable to charge the headset or the case battery. Multiple charging options ensure your Bluetooth headphones are always juiced up for long listening sessions or extended conversations.

Compared to conventional dynamic drivers, Balanced Armature drivers deliver crystal-clear vocals and booming bass with impressive depth. Plus, the micro-sized, full range driver comes precision tuned by Sony engineers to evenly reproduce a broad spectrum of high to low frequency response for an incredibly balanced audio experience.

Built-in Bluetooth: Built-in Bluetooth technology lets you free yourself from cables and cords. The Sony XBA-BT75 Bluetooth headphones allow you to take hands-free calls or wirelessly listen to music from your compatible Bluetooth-enabled device without having to plug it in. Sporting a groundbreaking box-free design, the ultra compact earpieces provide greater comfort and a more discreet look. In order to use Bluetooth wireless technology, your phone or other mobile device must also be Bluetooth compatible and be able to interpret certain profiles. The Sony XBA-BT75 is Bluetooth version 3.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) certified for higher quality transmission (2 Mbps) with less interference. These headphones are compatible with the following Bluetooth Profiles:
- Hands-Free Communication: HFP (Hands Free Profile), HSP (Head Set Profile)
- Audio Streaming: A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).
Note: Your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or other device must be paired with the XBA-BT75 headphones before hands-free operation. This unit can be paired with up to 8 devices. Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the Sony XBA-BT75.
Hands-Free Communication: The Sony XBA-BT75 in-ear headphones support Bluetooth hands-free communication (HFP/HSP) for your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. The integrated multi-control button of the XBA-BT75 can be used to answer an in-coming call or end a call. A ring-tone will be heard through the headphones during an incoming call. The XBA-BT75's integrated omni-directional microphone lets you carry on your side of the conversation, while listening to the caller's voice through the earphones.
Note: You will still need to make outgoing call from your mobile phone's keypad or touchscreen. Once you have dialed the number from your phone, the call will automatically switch to the Sony Bluetooth headphones.
Wireless Audio Streaming: The Sony XBA-BT75 headphones support wireless audio playback (AD2P) and control (AVRCP) of a Bluetooth enabled audio player or smartphone. The Bluetooth headphones will be able to control basic playback functions of your Bluetooth device's stored music; such as Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track, and Fast Forward/Rewind (via the integrated multi-control button). The XBA-BT75 also supports audio streaming of music apps (such as Pandora, iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, Last.fm, Rhapsody, or Slacker); but without control. You will continue to use your Bluetooth enabled smartphone to view and control streaming music apps.
Note: When receiving a phone call while listening to music, the music audio pauses and the ring-tone is heard through the headphones.
Rechargeable Batteries: The Bluetooth headset and included carrying case contain rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries (3.7V), which should be charged before using for the first time. A fully charged battery lasts up to 3.5 hours (continuous) or 400 hours (standby).
Charging Case: The included carrying case also doubles as a portable battery charger, so you can fully charge the Bluetooth in-ear headphones on the go. Simply plug the supplied USB cable between the charging case and a free USB (type-A) port on your computer. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.
