Maxell MultiCard reader

Written by: Joe from Akron,Ohio on December 20, 2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This Multi Reader wprks well, and takes almost all cards I am not certain if it has the same transfer rate as the SDXC cards, which is 80 megs per second.

Pros: Drivers are already in Windows Vista32,64. Windows 7.

Cons: Maxell makes complete garbage usually, plastic rubbish.

Card Reader

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I needed something that reads my memory card because it won't fit into the slot in my laptop. I got this because it was the cheapest one that would read the mind of card that I have. I didn't realize how many other card types it read and that it has a storage space for memory cards.

Pros: Accepts multiple different card types. Has a storage compartment for different card types.

Cons: Haven't found any and don't think I will.

works for all but sdxc uhs-1 64 GB

Written by: AS from Lewis Center, OH on September 16, 2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Works fine as indicated on the package. However, for my need for SDXC UHS-1 64GB, It didn't work. It showed the file list but lost as drive or hung on accessing the file. Crutchfield sent another one but same result. Probably UHS-1 or 64 gb size isn't supported as it worked for micro SD card. Due to my need I had to return it.

Product reviews from the Crutchfield Labs

Compact and useful

Written by Ralph Graves, Staff Writer - Creative, on 7/11/2012 1:28:00 PM

What I like best about this USB hub is that it's completely portable. The USB cable folds into case, so I can just throw this into my backpack or laptop case and go. I currently have a USB hub that I take with me, and a universal card reader. With the Maxell, I can carry one small device instead of two. Time to consolidate.
