Maxwell SDHC.

Written By Cyber_Me, New Jersey on Friday, September 25, 2015

It's pretty good. Not quite as fast as I would, but still gets the job done. I have been a Maxwell consumer for ages, and the company used to be really great.

Pros: Works, that's always a pro!

Cons: Not as fast as I hoped.

It is designed to do basically one thing and does it. That to me is a good thing.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was at an air show shooting with my Nikon d800 using my usual 8GB card. Everything was rosy. Then I put this tortoise in and for about ten minutes I thought my brand new camera was headed for the repair shop. It wouldn't display the images, seemed like the software was crashing, was sluggish and doing weird things. Finally, I realized that this Maxell card was not keeping up (even after just a couple of shots!!). Granted they are 40mb files but c'mon! Once I learned how slow it was, everything was okay as long as I was content with shots of contrails. I strongly suggest only using this card in a library so that at least you can read a good book while it's writing. Yes it was free with my purchase and yes you get what you pay for!

Pros: Takes you back to an earlier, simpler time when things moved at a different pace. No corrupted data, which is a good thing and why I gave it 3 stars.

Cons: Turns hair gradually white.
