Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

OK for anything you dont need high speed for, I am sure will work fine in most devices, I would not use them in a DSLR if you plan on shooting high speed cant complain they came free with my Body purchase and I will find a use for them

Pros: OK for storage devices,

Cons: not fast enough for modern DSLRS or video

ok for a freebie

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I suspect that the reason these are given as freebies is that people probably tend to buy bigger and faster cards. But it works for snapshots so thanks for the gift.

Pros: freebie, ok for general purpose snapshots

Cons: slow and small, wouldn't use for hd video

A decent backup memory card

Written by: DesertCat from Oregon on December 30, 2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

For something that was bundled for free with my camera purchase, it is hard to complain about these cards. Thank you Crutchfield for including them. That said, if I was separately purchasing a memory card for my camera, I would not buy these. They are relatively small in size and slow. Most modern cameras want a memory card that is at least Class 10 and not Class 4. Though Class 4 will work when a person is only taking a few snapshots, they will be a bottleneck if a person is either shooting HD video or shooting multiple photos at a high capture rate. With video, your camera may simply stop filming because it can't write to the card fast enough. With high frames-per-second photo shooting, the buffer will fill up quickly and you may be looking at 30+ seconds of your camera trying to clear its buffer before you can take more photos. As an emergency backup card when on vacation, however, these cards will serve in a pinch.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Slow, small amount of storage.

Thanks for the memories
