The DVD-LC is an easy, affordable way to keep your DVD player performing at its best. It employs an angular brush made of ultra fine synthetic fibers impregnated with copper. This brush not only cleans your DVD player's lens, but also dissipates electrostatic charges to help prevent the further accumulation of dust and debris that can degrade your player's performance.

The DVD-LC also features a 5.1-channel Dolby Digital system sound check and interactive on-screen directions for both cleaning and soundchecks in 8 languages (English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portugese, and Spanish).

Not for use on the DVD drives of notebook or laptop computers. 90-day warranty.

DVD Cleaner that Won't Play at All

Written By MICHAEL, Henryetta, OK on Tuesday, August 04, 2009
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

We just got this Maxell DVD cleaner which basically has a very small item called a brush hanging off the DVD which is suppose to clean the DVD lens, but My DVD rejects the DVD as it can't be read or played. I have tried for the last 1/2 hour to get it to work. I was told it helps remove static charge or something like that, but I can't see how it can do much of anything especially if my equipment won't play this.

We are very frustrated with this alleged Maxell DVD cleaner and would like to discuss this with the manufacturer themselves which may be on your web site I hope.

Have you ever tested this to see how it can work as its case says very little about anything really. Not the normal great products we have received from you in the past as my first purchase must of been in the 80s before the Internet went crazy. I just don't see how it can work especially if the DVD player can not read the disc, so it won't play the disc needed to clean the DVD which at this point, I have my doubts.
