Door Panel remover

While this might be a great tool, I'm disappointed that Clutchfield added it to my order when it won't work on my 2003 Dually. No need for it at all. There are no tabs to pop.

Totally Unnecessary

I go to Crutchfield in large part because they're very thorough when it comes to helping inept self-installers like me. The flip side of that coin, though, is that they can easily over-equip somebody who doesn't know ahead of time what some of the "recommended accessories" are for. This Dash faceplate removal tool is not some sort of ultra-specific piece that comprises the only way I could've loosened the dash panel front on my Silverado (I figured when I included it in my order that it was); the task it performed could just as easily been performed by the putty knife/spackle spreader I have in my tool box (as well as by any of my wider chisels, or even a kitchen spatula). Don't waste your money; spend it on components, then head to the kitchen drawer for a spatula when it's time to install.

Well...ordered some Polk speakers and was told I needed this product and did not. I will keep for use in my other car.

Regrets!

My only regret is that I wish I would have purchased/used this before trying the flat head screw driver (even wrapped it in a small cloth!)

This leaves no marks at all!

Great tool for not breaking your door panels!

Really helps to distribute the force needed to pop the panel clips loose. I remember back in the day the pressboard door panels that would easily break without a tool like this. Buy it! End the frustration.

I bought this tool with my new speakers and I was glad I did. It really helped me get the door panels off without damaging anything. And now I have it for any other reason I may need to remove door panels.

This little tool works. I was able to remove my door panel and not break anything thanks to this tool and Crutchfield's step by step insturctions. And I was able to get the door panel right back on and it feels and looks like no one has touched the door. It looks like a professional did the work. A must have tool if you are going to remove your door panel.
