The Shure BLX188/PG85 wireless dual lavalier system includes two PG185 lavalier microphones, a BLX1 bodypack transmitter, and the BLX88 dual-channel receiver. This package offers discreet amplification and freedom of movement for instructors, ministers, educators, and any speaker who doesn't want to be tethered to a mic onstage.

It's simple to set up the BLX188/PG85 's transmitter and receiver. Press one channel's Group button on the receiver and it automatically scans for the clearest group and channel. Then just set the transmitter to the same group and channel settings. Repeat the same process for the other channel and you're ready to go. The dual-channel receiver allows you to use both mics simultaneously. The Groups and Channels can also be set manually. You can run up to 12 systems simultaneously depending on channel availability and RF environment.

Overview: The Shure BLX188/PG85 Dual Channel Lavalier Wireless Microphone System consists of the BLX88 Dual Wireless Receiver, two PG185 Lavalier Microphones, and two BLX1 bodypack transmitters. You can operate up to 12 compatible systems per frequency band (depending upon your region). The system operates on the K12 frequency band (614 to 638 MHz), and has a transmitting range of approximately 300 feet.
BLX88: The BLX88 Dual Wireless Receiver features one-touch QuickScan frequency selection to help you find the best open frequency for less interference. You can also manually change the group and channel assignments, if needed. It has dual XLR mic outputs, as well as dual 1/4" instrument-level output jacks. The BLX88 is simple to set up, and has a microprocessor-controlled internal diversity antenna system. Each channel has two LED indicators. The audio LED indicates the strength of the incoming signal, and glows green for normal and red for overload. The ready LED indicates the system is ready for use and receiving the transmitter signal. It is powered by the supplied 12-volt DC power supply.
PG185: The PG185 lavalier microphone is a durable, wearable, condenser microphone for speakers and presenters. It has a cardioid polar pattern. It comes with a clothing clip for secure placement, and an acoustic windscreen to minimize wind noise in outdoor applications. It has a 48" cable that terminates into a 4-pin TA4F connector.
BLX1: The PG185 is paired with the BLX1 bodypack transmitter. It is powered by 2 "AA" alkaline batteries (included), which provide approximately 14 hours of battery life. The BLX1 has independent group and channel buttons for easy setup. The transmitter has a convenient clip for attaching it to a belt or pocket.

Used these 2 times for events and both times it was very easy to setup quickly. Automatically grabs the clearest channels for both. Only cut out for a split second once.
