A smart fit for proper noise isolation

The SE112's dynamic micro-drivers provide the optimal angle in your ear canal to ensure you hear all the details in whatever music you're listening to. The included soft flex ear tips come in a variety of sizes, so you'll get up to 37dB of noise attenuation with the right fit. That means less external noise will enter your ears, so you're better able to focus on what you're supposed to be hearing — a crucial factor for any musician looking to deliver a knockout performance.

Easy to use. The sound is super clear and they fit properly. I bought them as a gift for my son and even though he didn't like the style I've wound up using them myself instead of returning them. I wasn't an earbud person but I am now!

Great for the money

My rating is based on the fact that these earbuds do not cost $200. And my experience with earbuds is very limited. That said, these sound great. I did research before buying them, and I am happy with them. They are better than inexpensive earbuds, and not as good as high-quality, full-size headphones. I think that you would be happy with them, and with your experience with Crutchfield.

Pros: Sound great.

Cons: You can't expect earbuds to deliver the bass, and the overall highly-satisfying experience that you can get from full-size headphones.

Pros: Good quality sound, nice price, long cord.

Cons: No kill switch or volume on the wire.

The 2 previous reviews don't give enough credit to these little guys. I burned them in for 4 hours, slowly increasing the volume every half hour. Next day they sounded better than any budz I've tried b4. Ya the fit is snug but its supposed to be, that's how u get the best sound. Not uncomfortable at all and easy to put back in its little pouch. Noise cancelling depends on the seal of the budz not on any "Noise cancelling technology", but still works good, more than once I've been talked to for a few minutes and never heard a word they said. U get what u pay for and these are awesome for 50 bucks delivered, just get em and prove me wrong.

Pros: comfortable, sound sweet and free delivery (which was fast)

Cons: if u aren't used to budz with foam rubber earpieces, they might be uncomfortable at first. Once u get it u got it, no problemmo.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I got these for flying, and for late night computing. They sounded great when I tried them, and even better when I compared them with plain vanilla ear buds. Been tossing some older ear buds...

Pros: Sound quality is wonderful.

Cons: The seal is tight, which is good, but takes a bit of getting used to the feel.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

For an inn ear headphone ud, these are every bit the equal, and as good as the same size ear buds from Bose, and other top end manufacurers.

Pros: I got these primarily for good freq. response and the ability to use them while wearing my helmet while riding my 900 cc dual sport motorcycle for hours at a time. For this they/re near perfect, as over the ear headphones just won;t do.

Cons: Not as comfortable or clear as over the ear headphones, but sore in a much smaller space and don't weigh nearly as much.

Overview: The Shure SE112 Sound Isolating Earphones deliver crystal clear, spacious sound with rich bass. These in-ear headphones are equipped with a single dynamic MicroDriver, and a 48" cord (non-detachable) with an adjustable cinch and a right-angled 3.5mm plug. The SE112s can be used for personal listening and in-ear monitoring.

Sound Isolating Sleeves: The SE112s come with a Fit Kit that includes three sizes of sound isolating sleeves--Small, Medium, and Large. The sleeves provide a secure, comfortable fit, and a good seal to block up to 37dB of ambient noise.

Cleaning Tool: In-ear headphones require cleaning from time to time to maintain sound quality. When the earphone nozzle becomes blocked, the sound quality deteriorates. The obstruction can be removed with the included wire loop cleaning tool. The length of the wire loop is customized to allow the tool to reach into the nozzle without damaging the sound filter inside.

Carrying Pouch: The SE112s come with a soft, cloth storage pouch with a drawstring closure.

Not sure as I use a droid, however I would think it would work just fine. They are great sounding, and if they don't work you can always return. Crutchfield is great about returns. [ ROBERT  May 06, 2016 ]
Worked just fine on my iPhone 5. [ barry  May 04, 2016 ]
Yes [ Robert  May 03, 2016 ]
Yes, I use it on my iPhone 5 and now iPhone 6 [ Gary  May 03, 2016 ]
I have used these with my iPhone 6s, and they sound great! However, I have also read online about the receptacle on iPhones being slightly different than the standard - using regular headphone plugs in the jack may wear it out, eventually not work, whatever. There must be a million people using aftermarket headphones with iPhones, so it's hard to imagine that it's that big of a deal - but I wish Apple would use conventional designs/sizes whenever possible. Hope this helps. Mike [ Michael  May 03, 2016 ]
