Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great product. It is will made and does what it is supposed to do. I am using it in reverse to switch one line output to either a headphone amp or to a sub-woofer in a two channel high end stereo system. This allows me to shut off my subwoofer while listening to my headphones without having to physically switch off the sub-woofer which would be inconvenient.

Pros: Quality product Looks nice and blends in with other black colored equipment Passive device that adds no coloration to the sound No cross-talk.

Cons: A little pricey, but heavy duty build quality that will last. Definitely worth the price

Nice But Overpriced

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This product does exactly what it states. I like the fact that it doesn't have to be plugged into an AC or DC power source. After purchasing it however, I saw a similar unit at a large retailer for 1/5 of the price with 4 inputs instead of 5 inputs. So for function it gets 5 ***** but for price it gets 1*. My failure to shop around cost me in the end.

Pros: 5 input selector, Compact size

Cons: Price

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Niles APX-1 performs exactly as advertised.

Pros: As a stereo 5 way selector it really simplifies switching multiple sources.

Cons: No cons as far as performance and ease of use use is concerned, but cosmetically it is somewhat utilitarian.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have been using the AXP1 for about a year.It performs beautifully.I use two multi-cd players, a tuner and a tape/cd recorder. No problems at all. The unit is solidly built and does not seem to add or subtract from the sound of the units. I have never been disappointed by any Niles product. Keep up the careful and solid units you produce!

Pros: Solid build, easy to use, no loss of sound quality.

Cons: Absolutely none!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The unit is beautifully made. The fit and finish is perfect, like other Niles units. I needed something to route a tape player, iPod and CD player all into one SONOS connect. This does it perfectly allowing me to alternate between sources without purchasing a connect for each or using an amp or receiver. If I could have custom built something it wouldn't have been as good.

Pros: It does what it is supposed to beautifully - alternate between 5 sources which then output to another unit.

Cons: None
