About the Niles PAR4
If you've got an audio/video system with more than one A/V component of the same model, check out the Niles PAR4. Add it to your infrared repeater system to individually control each of three DVD mega-changers, for example, or select different video inputs on four TVs in a multi-display rec room setup. Features
Overview: The PAR4 infrared router enables you to control identical audio/video components independently of each other by programming which of the four flasher outputs are active for a given remote command (programming of the remote done on your computer). This allows you to incorporate multiple components of the same make and model (CD changers, satellite receivers, cable boxes, televisions, etc) into a home entertainment system and control them individually. The PAR4 is installed in the same location as the equipment and connected to your infrared (IR) extender system, it then turns pre-specified routes (flashers) on and off, passing infrared commands to a single component or group of components.
Daisy Chain: Using the IR Cascade Out jack, two PAR4 units can be used together for a total of eight unique flasher outputs.
