Overview: The Niles Audio PB6Si Pro is a rectangular planter
box with a built-in stereo input speaker that can be used indoors or outdoors.
It is designed to accommodate live plants features two drain-holes to allow water to drain from your plants. Available in a weathered concrete finish and terra cotta finish.
Drivers: The speaker has a front-firing 6-1/2" dual voice
coil, injection-molded TCC (Talc/Carbon/Ceramic) filled polypropylene
woofer with a butyl rubber surround. There are two 1" fluid-cooled, Tri-laminate Teteron tweeters,
mounted at a custom angle for optimum dispersion. The
dual tweeters and single woofer provide a quality stereo signal with just one
Grille: The aluminum MicroPerf grille on the speaker has
hundreds of precisely-sized perforations, creating an acoustically transparent
grille. The aluminum construction resists oxidation, enabling years of
trouble-free operation in the harshest conditions. Both sides of the grille are
painted for added protection.
Wiring: The speaker features separate left and right channel
inputs. Two 2', burial-rated connection cables are attached to the bottom of
the planter box. Waterproof wire nuts are provided to connect your speaker wire
to the speaker. The proper speaker wire gauge is determined by the length of the

- 12-Gauge: Maximum Distance: 160'
Configuration: The speaker can be wired to be used as a
single speaker, stereo input mode, or in a 2-speaker stereo mode. In the
one-speaker stereo input mode, the speaker is 8 ohms. In the two-speaker stereo
mode, the speaker is 4 ohms.
Temperature Extremes: The Niles Audio PB6Si Pro planter speaker can
withstand temperatures of -50° to 185°
