This plate has three gold-plated female F-type connectors on the back and three gold-plated female RCA connectors on the front. This plate lets you make longer in-wall runs (up to about 100 feet) than are possible with RCA cables. For best results you should use RG-6 quad shielded coaxial cable.
Niles Triple F-to-RCA Outlet Reviews
What's in the box?
- 1 Decora-style wall plate outlet (white) w/ 3 female "F" connectors on rear and 3 female RCA jacks on front
- 2 mounting screws
- All in a blister pack w/ instructions
- Note: Requires a J-box and/or plaster ring
- which are not included
This wall plate allows you to connect a male
F-connector from a coaxial cable to the rear of the plate, and then use a male RCA
patchcord from the front of the plate to the system you are attaching it to.
Although the coaxial cable is carrying the signal to the wall plate, it is not used to distribute an RF signal, but to allow for longer runs (up to about 100') then you could use with RCA cable. For best results you should use RG-6 quad shielded coaxial cable.
