A bass cannon

Bass makes up about 30% of your music, and it gives music its power and impact. A good subwoofer can make an average car audio system sound good, and a good car audio system sound great. Good bass is all about moving air, and a cylindrical tube translates the motion of its woofer into maximum air pressure so you hear and feel more bass. Bazooka designed the Bass Tube to act like a bass cannon, firing low frequencies throughout your vehicle.

Bass Tube efficiency

BTA10100FHC 10" amplified Bass Tubes package

The BTA10100FHC Bass Tube package from Bazooka includes a great-sounding amplified subwoofer tube and convenient radio connection kit. With this handy combo, you can enjoy thumping low end with a minimum amount of hassle.

Bazooka's BT Series BTA10100 10" amplified Bass Tubes enclosure gives you the thrill of powerful bass without having to make any permanent modifications, especially handy if you drive a leased vehicle. It features an efficient 10" woofer, a built-in 100-watt amplifier, and mounting hardware. Place the BTA10100 in a convenient spot in your vehicle, connect it to your car stereo, and enjoy some punchy bass while you drive.

Fits in almost any vehicle

The included F.A.S.T. combination from Bazooka features everything you need to hook up the BTA10100 to the factory or aftermarket radio in your vehicle: the F.A.S.T.-9999 universal harness and a 16-foot extension cable. The F.A.S.T.-9999 universal harness uses Posi-Tap connectors and simple, reliable plugs to get the signal from your radio to the Bass Tube — no splicing needed. Hook the other end of the universal harness up to the 16-foot long F.A.S.T.-BTAH extension cable, which you've connected to the BTA10100 in the rear of your vehicle.

Big bass without losing space

Bass Tubes enclosures fit just about anywhere

A compact Bass Tubes enclosure will fit in almost any vehicle, and you can disconnect it in a snap if you need more cargo space. Since the tube's speaker and port are right next to each other, you can get amazing results by "corner loading" your tube — placing it in a corner of your trunk or cargo area so your vehicle's boundaries act as a natural amplifier, boosting bass production.

Bass control from the driver's seat

An optional wired Remote Bass Control Module gives you independent in-dash volume control of your bottom end. Want to know more? Take Bazooka's Bass Tubes Tour.

Who needs a powered subwoofer?

To produce bass, you need a sub, an enclosure, and an amplifier, and it can be little tricky to match them all up. A powered sub eliminates all the hassle, as the manufacturer designs the enclosure to house the sub and amp together. This all-in-one solution is especially useful in smaller vehicles, where there's no room to mount a separate amp, or in any vehicle where you need every bit of cargo space. Powered subs range from small, flat boxes that fit under your seat to larger boxes that go in your trunk.

Bazooka tube

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is the 4th bazooka tube, but first amplified one. Overall the sound is incredible. For my tastes the tube is the only way to go. It fits behind the front seat. I have one in a Corolla And just installed the amped one in a Tacoma. Not trying to impress the neighbors but it is an hour commute each way and this helps pass the time. The sound is incredible. Certainly adds the bottom end so the rest of the speakers can do their job and not have to hit the bottom.

Pros: The sound for the space is incredible.

Cons: The amped Bazooka doesn't have the flexibility when compared to a Bazooka run off an amp.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This subwoofer tube is perfect for an add on to factory audio system. It is surprisingly powerful for its size. It's not going to shake your neighbors' Windows when you drive down the street but will give your passengers in the Back seat a nice back massage. Would definetly recommend! Two thumbs up!

Pros: Powerful for it size. Can easily be removed for more trunk space but actually does take up much room at all.

Cons: Make sure you hook up the wire that turns on the tube and remove bypass connector on wire harness and have switch on tube in the correct position or you think you just waisted your money.

Awesome portable sub!!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought the Bazooka BTA10100FHC 10" sub for my wife's 2012 Toyota Rav4. The install was super easy once I found out how to take the dash apart (YouTube video) and get the radio out (easy peasy). The FAST 9999 connectors worked perfectly and were easy to install. Routing the cabling back to the sub in the back was again super easy. There is so much room in the dash and the door sills. The sub sounds good and really does bring that extra 30% of the sound out of the factory stereo. The sub enclosure is solid and beefy. It's big, and we could have probably gotten away with the 8" version, but she likes to really "feel" the boom!! :o)

Pros: Quality product from Bazooka with great sound! Portability between vehicles with the FAST 9999 connectors. Crutchfield customer service / technical advice. Outstanding!!

Cons: None.

Did not install it, but I bet it sounds great.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I ordered the Bazooka BTA10100FHC for my 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Crutchfield does not yet have wiring diagrams for Hybrid models. Although I've been looking forward to increasing the bass in my vehicle, I ended up not installing it after putting it in the trunk for a fit check. I decided I didn't want to try and tap into the factory stereo by trying to figure out which wire is which (don't have diagram for it). Also, It's pretty big and was not willing to compromise the already small trunk space in the Fusion Hybrid. I bet the Bazooka sounds great, but it's definitely not for those with space constraints in their vehicle.

I'm rating the product 5 stars because the build of the Bazooka seemed great and the Fast connectors that come with it seem very simple to use, albeit one small confusing point. I did read through the install instructions and only one thing was confusing: The instructions said to connect the power wire directly to the battery using a fused wire (which was not included), but other reviewers and the instructions that came with the FAST connector said to just tap into your stereo's power.

I know Crutchfield would be able to clarify any questions with a quick phone call or via e-mail.

Pros: - Seems to be built to last - FAST harness simple to use

Cons: - Not for space constrained vehicles

I'm feeling the music now.

Great powered sub!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This purchase is exactly what I was looking for. After replacing my door speakers with 6.5"'s and losing a lot of bass response, I wanted something that would bring it back. This sub does that and then some. It's just as powerful as the two 10" Dual Subs I had back when I was a teenager. Great acoustics, bass response, and low end.

The FAST kit that comes with this unit makes it so easy to install. A monkey could do it. No connections to the battery required. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something that is self powered, easy to install, and looking to even out the low end. If you're looking for something to rattle your neighbors windows though - this isn't the sub for you. My only complaint is the volume control switch costs extra.

Pros: Easy to install Great bang for your buck

Cons: Doesn't come with the control for sub volume- have to purchase separately.

BTA10100 Tube

Amazing! Thunderous Bass from a small enclosure! I'd rather have this system than an equivalently sized/powered set of components.

Pros: Ease of installation and overall size.

Cons: None as of yet....

Customer Q&A

Crutchfield asked
Why did you buy this?

Powered sub that sounds better then separate amp and woofer. [ ERNEST T  Dec 14, 2015 ]

2 questions already asked

Tube comes with nylon cinch straps and two plastic bases. It works out pretty well and is secure. If you want metal you will need to fabricate something. [ Jon  Mar 25, 2015 ]
the fasteners are metal but the strap is nylon [ Russell  Mar 24, 2015 ]
It comes with straps and plastic strap holders that screw into the floor. [ Jerome  Mar 24, 2015 ]
It probably could. I'm sure the 8 inch one would. Might check the dementions and measure, haven't been in an f150 in awhile so I'm not really sure. Hope that helps :) [ TODD  May 01, 2014 ]
I think so. I have a silverado 2005 and it perfect. The 8in anyway. The 10 will n o t fit. I tried. [ JEREMIAH  May 01, 2014 ]
It should, maybe with the ported side facing forward instead of on top, can't really remember the exact dimensions of the tube but I think its less than 16 inches tall [ AARON  May 01, 2014 ]
Not sure. At first glance it looks like it might fit if the high top part of the bazooka is leaning on the floor. It would be tight for sure and might stick out from under the seat where your feet sit. It doesn't hurt to try. I bought two of these to use behind the 3rd row seat of a dodge Durango and in the trunk of a Acura TL. Crutchfield's returns are simple and hassle free. [ LEANDRA  May 01, 2014 ]
