About the Bazooka ELA465
Bazooka's Elevated Listening Series ELA465 amplifier comes loaded with all the features you'll need to tune up your car's system. Its extruded aluminum heatsink guarantees dependable and efficient operation even under extreme conditions.
This sharp-looking 4-channel amp produces 64 watts RMS per channel, plenty for a full dose of sound from your front and rear car speakers. Or you can switch to 2-channel mode and pump 170 watts each to a pair of speakers or subwoofers. You can use the speaker-level inputs to connect the amp to a factory stereo without needing additional adapters or long patch cables. Use the low- and high-pass filters and bass boost to shape the sound for maximum clarity and punch.

Inputs, Outputs, and Controls
Features
DC Protection: This circuit protects the output of the amplifier against DC voltage. If for some reason DC voltage is detected at the output stage, the amplifier will shut down protecting the speakers from direct current.
Short Circuit Protection: This circuit protects the amplifier from damage due to a short found in the speakers or wiring. If one of the speakers or its wiring comes into contact with ground, the amplifier will shut down.
Thermal Protection: To protect the amplifier circuitry against damage caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures, a thermal protection circuit is activated if the amplifier reaches an excessively high operating temperature. Once the thermal circuit is activated, the amplifier will shut down to cool off. The amplifier will automatically turn back on once it cools down to a safe operating temperature.
Internal Crossovers: Each side of the amp has an independent built-in crossover; they can be set for high-pass or low-pass operation, or turned off for full-range output (flat). The crossover points are adjustable from 50-250Hz and have slopes of 12dB/octave.
Bass Boost: Each side of the amp also has a bass boost centered at 45Hz; the boost levels are independently set to 0 dB, 6 dB, or 12dB.
Inputs, Outputs, and Controls
Left Side of the Amplifier:
- High Inputs: front and rear 5-pin jacks for use with supplied speaker-level input harnesses
- Line Inputs: front and rear stereo RCA stereo jacks
- Gain: front and rear rotary controls; allows you to match the input sensitivity of the amplifier to the source unit
- Filter Switches: select high-pass, low-pass, or full-range operation for the front and rear internal crossovers
- X-Over: front and rear rotary controls; allows you to adjust the frequency of the crossovers from 50-250 Hz
- Bass Boost: front and rear three position switches; set the bass boost to 0 dB, 6 dB, or 12dB
Right Side of the Amplifier:
- +12 (power): screw terminal; 1/2" wide
- GND (ground): screw terminal; 1/2" wide
- REM (remote turn-on): screw terminal; 5/16" wide
- Speakers: terminal strip; each terminal 5/16" wide
- Fuses: two 25-amp ATO (blade) fuses
- Power LED: illuminates green when the amplifier is on and receiving power
