Features

Marine Grade Construction: The MBT1014 tube features a 10" waterproof woofer. The enclosure is certified salt fog and UV resistant for 5 years and the included mounting hardware is stainless steel.

Power Rating: The passive 4 ohm 10" woofer is rated at 6 to 200 watts with a frequency response of 39-1000 Hz.

Moisture Resistant Enclosure: The enclosure is moisture, UV, and salt fog resistant for reliable operation in all conditions.

5-Way Platinum-Colored Binding Posts: The input terminals are platinum-colored to resist corrosion. The binding posts will accept bare wire, spade lugs, banana plugs, dual banana plugs and pin connectors. The posts are recessed into a cup at the end of the tube opposite the woofer.

Installation

Mounting Method: There are 2 mounting bases that are made to be attached to your vehicle or boat with the provided 1" stainless steel self-tapping screws. Once the mounting bases are installed, the tube can be placed on the bases and secured with the included mounting straps. For best results, the tube should be mounted facing into a corner, and there should be 2 to 4 inches between the woofer and the corner into which it is pointing.

Customer Q&A

Q
I currently have an amplified 10" bazooka. I want to add another. Should I get this one or one with an amp and how can I wire them together?

A
Greetings Joshua, and thank you for your question. Your amplified Bazooka subwoofer would not be able to power this passive subwoofer, or any passive subwoofer for that matter. You will need another amplified sub. Power off the battery as usual, grounded, and signal from the stereo just like your current sub.

Q
I want to hook this up to a JL 600M/6 amp. I currently have the amp running to 6 speakers. Is it possible to make this work well using my existing amp and bridging it and maybe running 2 speakers off of the head unit? I'm trying to avoid buying another amp if possible. Please help.

Jl 600m/6 is stable to 2 ohms. Run two channels bridged at 4 ohms for sub, then run other 6 speakers in parallel, assuming they are 8 or 4 ohms. Should be fine with current amp. Try to avoid running 2 speakers off head unit.
