Excellent and Vital with your Bazooka Sub

Written By Michael, NJ - 1995 Acura Integra on Friday, August 13, 2010
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I'm so glad I bought this with my 250W powered bazooka sub. It comes in so handy next to my head unit. The included remote wire is very long and should be plenty for any vehicle (unless you drive a limo). The install is a breeze if you run the wire when you install your amp wiring. It plugs in like a phone jack to the subwoofer, and to the remote. Even though I have bass controls and subwoofer controls on my alpine head unit; I like the convenience of having this complement my head unit. It's much easier to adjust the bass by turning the knobs then looking through a receiver sub-menu.

It's a no brainer...if you're buying a bazooka sub, buy this.

1 question already asked

When using he remote for the bazooka tube, what are the settings (gain and Xover) on the bazooka tube itself or does the remote control everything? [ Paul.  Mar 03, 2014 ]

  • My Bazooka tube had a set 80hz Xover inside no adjustment available. You would just be adjusting the gain with the remote. I usually set my gain at the Bazooka Tube and use the remote for fine tuning. [ GEORGE   Mar 10, 2014 ]
  • Once you have plugged in the remote, it allows you to change the settings when ever you like. With the remote, you don't have to mess with the setting on the bass tube. I bought mine in July and it is one of the best subs on the market! [ SHAWN   Mar 04, 2014 ]
