The speakers are very good. I have not had any problems with them. The speakers have good loudness. Like many people have said, they are not for bass. You will need a sub for that. Over all i am very happy with this buy.

For the price, these speakers are awesome. I replaced all four in my 2001 F-150 and it sounds great. I still need to add a sub of some sort, but these speakers are crisp and clean... OH so much better than the stock stuff.

I gave them 5 stars because the speakers are a steal. I put 2 sets in an 02 Ranger regular cab paired with a Kenwood KDC135 head unit. Very nice highs and mids with decent base. I couldn't be happier, thanks Crutchfield.

Good purchase for my 1995 Pathfinder

I purchased a pair of these Kicker's to replace the deteriorated stock 5X7 Clarions in the overhead pillar area. Crutchfield indicated some cutting or alteration of metal would be required, and they were right. I didn't have the tools to cut the factory opening so I used a hammer to bend the lip of the opening back just enough for the fit. It worked beautifully. Now I have good sound coming from the rear area at a great price. Thanks Crutchfield.

Decent for the price

I bought these for my girlfriend's PT Cruiser, cant beat the price. I installed them in the rear pillar, installation was a cinch. These are a decent step up from factory, but you wont confuse them for Polk or Infinity in terms of bass or sound quality, respectively. The sound quality is pretty good, but you just cant expect alot of bass from a 6x8" speaker. We have been using them for almost a month now, theyre not full ybroken in, but with the factory stereo, they dont distort no matter how loud they are turned up.
If you want a good quality factory-replacement speaker with overall good performance for a great price, this is the speaker to buy.
