A match made in heaven...or Oklahoma

Kicker's 10VC124 loaded enclosure puts a thumping 12" Comp sub behind your music. The rugged ported box was designed specifically for the sub, so you can count on getting maximum performance, no matter what kind of tunes you enjoy.

Hard-hitting Comp subs

The 12" Comp sub features a stiff injection-molded polymineral cone supported by a double-stitched ribbed foam surround for deep excursion. Kicker's back-braced cone design keeps the woofer stable during those hard hits, while the perimeter venting system helps cool the sub's internal parts during demanding performances. A strong steel basket provides a stable foundation that won't flex during hard use.

Heavy-duty enclosure

Sturdy 3/4" medium-density fiberboard ensures long-lasting performance from the enclosure, and the special-design side port delivers more bass without getting sloppy. The enclosure's 4-ohm impedance allows compatibility with a wide range of amplifiers.

Product Highlights:

  • ported enclosure with one 12" Comp subwoofer
  • 3/4" medium-density fiberboard construction covered with carpet
  • 4-ohm total impedance
  • power handling: 50-150 watts RMS (300 watts peak power)
  • frequency response: 27-300 Hz
  • sensitivity: 95 dB
  • 17-11/16"W x 16-1/8"H x 14-5/8"D1 x 11-1/4"D2

Enclosed Subwoofers 101

An enclosed subwoofer is a box with a subwoofer already installed. The advantage to buying an enclosed sub is that the manufacturer made the sub, then designed and built the box as a perfect match, so you'll get the best possible performance. Every enclosed sub has a maximum RMS power handling rating, so pair it with an amp with a similar RMS power rating to get the best performance.

The sound is very clean & deep. I upgrading from a low-end 10" Kenwood and I can really hear/feel the difference this 12" makes. I'm very happy with this enclosure. I have it in a hatchback and don't hear any wind from the port. I should have upgraded a while ago. Thanks Crutchfield Team for recommending this one.

Pros: Clean Deep Tones, Easy Secure wire terminals

Cons: A little tall
