Slim fit

These KS Series speakers are some of the most installation-friendly Kicker speakers yet. These low-profile speakers feature a reduced mounting depth, making them a match for almost any car.

Pump up the volume

While the low profile is an elegant asset, you'll find the real beauty of Kicker's KS Series speakers inside. The 41KSC684's highly sensitive design conjures hefty volume even from low-powered factory radios. So, you'll be able to enjoy every bit of their natural sound, starting with a full midbass and midrange experience from the 6"x8" polypropylene woofer and its powerful magnet. You'll also hear subtle vocal and instrumental details from the silk dome tweeter, giving your music a dimension that factory speakers just can't manage.

I'm happy with these speakers that replaced the rear deck speakers of my 2006 mustang GT.

I was really unhappy with the junk factory speakers in my F150. I Picked these up on recommendation from a tech assistant here on Crutchfield. Much brighter sound and actually have some bass over the factory speakers. Installed all four in an hour.

Pros: Easy install. Good sound.

Cons: None at this time.

Pros: Cost. Better than factory.

Cons: None yet.

Nice quality speaker for a nice price

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers to go into an older Ford model that commonly used this size speaker, They installed nicely and fit within the stock locations perfectly. I installed these with a 50W per channel RMS amp. They do mids and highs really well, but the dimensions just aren't big enough for good bass production. After installing these I wound up adding a subwoofer in order to complete the audio spectrum. These speakers do their part and I'm really pleased with the end result, but don't expect these to produce bass.

Pros: Fits in stock location well for these sized speakers. They're a nice quality speaker. Covers mids & highs really well. Reasonably priced.

Cons: Not good at reproducing low frequency sound.

I had given these a try and I am actually glad that I did. I have never owned these speakers and they have completed my system. The music is very much clearer than other's that I have owned. The highs the lows and the mids highly compliments the sound. I listen to heavy metal and the sound from these are phenomena l.these speaker's will not disappoint

Pros: Quality sound

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I installed four of these speakers into my 2012 F-150 XLT Supercrew. Installation was easy and straight forward and the wiring harnesses make it simple, just plug and play. The speakers are superior quality to the OEM speakers. Clarity is good. Bass in the mids is good, but a little lacking in the low. I plan to install the Sound Ordnance compact sub shortly after Christmas to give it that extra bump.

Pros: Easy install, plug and play, superior sound

Cons: None

At higher volumes with bass the stock speakers have major fade. My other car has KS 6x9's and 6" kickers in it with a 12" sub and decided after reading other reviews to give these a try. Have to say it's 100% better. The bass, the mids. Was a great choice. WILL recommend these to my other friends with F150's..

Pros: Easy installation. Best hour I have spent Installing 4 speakers.

Cons: Drivers door was a pain was all.

Plug, play and be impressed by the difference. The stock Sony speakers in my F150 had no midrange whatsoever, so I got these and I'm surprised by the amount of solid bass they have as well as the improved midrange. Great purchase.

Pros: Easy install

Cons: no "kicker" badges to replace the sony badges on my doors.

Quick fix for OEM

Written by: jG from Arkansas on August 13, 2015

Quick and painless upgrade to OEM that makes a serious improvement in sound quality. With the included wiring harness adapters, the hardest part was getting to the screw behind the door handle. I got a set of 4 installed after work and noticed a huge difference as soon as I turned the music back on. Very satisfied!

Pros: Easy install. Great sound quality for the price.

Cons: Um... no optional foam "spacers" for the front. That's purposely LOOKING for a con, though.

will not buy kicker anymore

Had these kickers in for 6 months before I replaced them they are terrible speakers. The head unit was only putting out 25w RMS and that was too much for these speakers. Poor sound as well.

2012 Ford Escape
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These are good, solid speakers. Not the top of the line, but for the price they sound great. They're far better than the original equipment speakers - I don't know a lot about speakers, but these weighed a lot more than the originals in my 2012 Escape. The magnet was about four times the size, and the cone is made of a much more durable material - the originals were paper. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to replace the original speakers with something that sounds much, much better but doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I was replacing a blown speaker and these were a definite upgrade over the originals.

Pros: Magnet is much larger and heavier than originals. Cone is much more durable. Installation was pretty easy - these speakers fit exactly in place of the originals in a 2012 Escape front door. Sound much better than the originals.

Cons: Can't think of any.

I usually buy infinity but figured I would buy 2 sets of 6x8's for my 2003 ranger supercab because of a free kicker headphones with the special they were having. I installed them and they sound better but not on the same level as infinity reference I usually buy. I have a jvc aftermarket receiver.

Pros: Good bass response

Cons: Highs seem to be lacking.

These speakers were such an upgrade from my factory speakers. I installed them in my Taurus recently, and they were so much easier to install than I imagined. The bass is excellent on them, and you can really hear every single detail in the high notes also. I use them every day and my car and I could not be happier! I highly recommend getting these, and they are very affordable!

Pros: Great bass, detailed treble, powerful, affordable, easy to install

Cons: Maybe make the bass a little more powerful. But it is still very good!

I bought these with a Kicker Hideaway sub for my super duty. These speakers are in the front and are powered with the factory headunit so Im sure they would sound better with a better source/amp but these are a drastic improvement to the OEM speakers. They dropped right in and the harness hooked right up to the factory harness. No splicing or cutting.

Pros: Inexpensive but sounds pretty good

Cons: None
