Features

Polypropylene Woofer Cones: The Kicker CS-series speakers feature durable polypropylene woofer cones for power and control. Polypropylene woofers are also resistant to moisture and high temperature extremes found in automotive applications.

Ribbed Polyester Foam Surrounds: The ribbed polyester foam surrounds allow extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL.

1/2" PEI Balanced-dome Tweeters: The 1/2" PEI balanced-dome tweeters provide a smooth high frequency response with quick, detailed and spatially-correct imaging. PEI is an acronym for polyetherimide. The tweeters have strong neodymium magnets for higher power handling.

Customer Q&A

Q
Do these replace the small speakers in either side of the bottom dash of 84-96 Jeep Cherokee? The speakers I am referring to are about knee level mounted on the bottom part of the dash, I am not entirely sure that they are for the radio or not, Crutchfield says these fit somewhere and that is my only guess. Thanks for any answers!

Sorry, no. The stock speakers are similar in size to an aftermarket 3.5" but due to interference with sub-dash material, there are no aftermarket models we can recommend to fit the factory dash location. While I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, I hope the information helps.

Thanks for your question. I don't have specs for each individual speaker. The shipping weight of the package is 1.7 lbs. That includes the two speakers, instruction manual, speaker wire and connectors. Hope that helps.

Will these fit in the top of the dash and in the sound bar in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?

I have them on the dash of a 2012 sonata turbo. They fit nice and tight. The magnet is quite big for this size, but they did fit. I dont know about the jeep, but it should. Great little speaker.

Q
Right now I have Kicker DS525 speakers in the doors and the back of my Chrysler Lebaron. I've read some reviews recommending bass blockers, and I'm planning on buying a subwoofer and amp soon. So should I get bass blockers? And does nyone know if these would fit in the dash of a 1992 Lebaron? It's supposed to take 3.5" speakers, but I'm not sure

3.5 inch speakers? first get bigger ones, second yes cross them over at smallest 100hz but mine are crossed over at 150hz because my sub play up to that. I recommend crossing them over near the frequency your sub is crossed under at so they over lapping frequencies don't sound redundant, plus your sub will reproduce those frequencies better.

I don't have bass blockers on mine. I was under the impression they have a built in crossover. I can play them loud on my head unit and they sing real nice with no distortion. Still, I wouldn't feed them less than 80hz with a 6db high pass filter from my head unit. To be sure, I've never noticed distortion even without the HPF turned off. As far as your install, they should fit with minimal modifications. Call Crutchfield tech support and get the specs (cutout diameters etc) to be sure. Hope this helps. :)

I have these in my ram 1500 and they fit perfect. I put bass blockers in and would recommend those.
