Legendary bass, awesome price

If you're looking to add some boom to your car's sound system, Kicker's CompD line will get your car shaking without draining your wallet. These subs are the latest in the legendary Kicker Comp line that started in 1986, with a proven pedigree when it comes to delivering powerful bass.

Kicker technology at work

Kicker's 40CWD152 15" subwoofer features a flex-resistant polypropylene cone for hard-hitting lows without distortion, while the ribbed foam surround promotes long excursion and helps to keep the cone on target. The sub's steel basket provides a reliable foundation for big bass, and its extensive venting ensures long-lasting performance that won't break down when the bass gets heavy.

Easy to add to nearly any setup

This sub handles up to 600 watts RMS to bring out the depth your music's been missing, and its dual 2-ohm voice coils give you more wiring options when setting up your system. This versatile sub works well in sealed or ported enclosures, and it's even suitable for free-air applications.

To drive this single subwoofer, we recommend a mono amplifier rated between 450 and 900 watts RMS at 4 ohms. For more information, please refer to our article on How to Match Subwoofers and Amplifiers.

This Sub is great! I only have a kicker 300.1 amp to this thing and it still turns heads. Sound quality is great because it has outstanding bass without distortion.

Pros: Everything is great on this amp, Price, Sound and heck it even looks good.

Cons: No cons about this thing, only have 1 of them to an underpowered amp and it still is great.
