About the Kicker KX350.2
A tricked out system calls for a kickin' amp, and nothing fits the bill like a KX series amplifier from Kicker. These high-end amps set the standard for clean, steady sound with MOSFET protection circuits and Class AB design for cool, efficient operation. And the cosmetics? They'll definitely set your installation apart from the crowd.
If power and flexibility are what you need, Kicker's KX350.2 amp has you covered. This muscular 2-channel amplifier is packed with features to ensure the best sound from your system. And you can trust that the CEA-2006 compliant power ratings are a true measure of the amp's capabilities. Variable crossovers from 50-200 Hz may be set for high-pass, low-pass, or full-range operation.
Feel the need for some thump? The KickBass control lets you kick in up to 18 dB of bass boost at 40Hz. Grab the dash-mountable wired remote to adjust the amp's bass level for different CDs. A protection circuit safeguards against damage from overvoltage, reverse voltage, or overheating.

Wiring Recommendation
EndKaps: The Kicker KX350.2 amplifier features two removable, cast aluminum EndKaps that are mounted to each end of the amplifier. These EndKaps protect and hide all of the wiring connections to the amplifier, and must be removed before the amp is mounted. The EndKaps can be prepped and painted any custom color you choose. They are mounted to the amp with 4 Allen-head screws (3mm Allen wrench supplied).
Kicker "Living Loud" Certified Power Certificate: The amplifier comes with a certificate that informs you of the total maximum wattage of the particular amplifier, along with the model number, serial number, tested date, and whether the amplifier passed the total harmonic distortion, signal-to-noise ratio, and protection circuit tests. For example, the actual amplifier reviewed by Crutchfield was certified at 375 watts total maximum power output, although it is rated at 350 total watts (at 2 ohms in stereo).
Top-mounted Controls: The KX350.2 features three rotary controls on the top panel: input gain control, bass boost control and crossover frequency control. These controls can be easily accessed, even with the EndKaps installed.
Variable Active Crossover: With the amp's built-in crossover, you can switch between high-pass operation for filtering out bass information to your speakers, low-pass for subwoofers, or off for full range operation. The cutoff frequency is continuously variable from 50 to 200Hz with a 12dB/octave slope.
SORT (Short circuit, Over-voltage, Reverse polarity, Thermal) Protection Circuitry: The SORT protection circuitry guards against accidents and undesired operation. If the red Protection LED illuminates, SORT has been engaged and the amplifier is in protect mode until the problem is resolved.
KickBass Bass Boost: The KickBass bass boost circuit provides up to 18dB signal boost at 40Hz.
SAMS (Stereo And Mono Simultaneously): With a Tri-mode adapter (item # 127TM100), this amplifier can run satellite speakers in stereo and a mono subwoofer simultaneously.
Remote Bass Level Control: The dash-mounted remote unit allows you to adjust the output level of the amplifier. This can only be used when the amplifier's crossover switch is set to Lo-Pass. The remote control has the following dimensions: 2.2" W x 1.788" D (2.193" including the knob) x 1.186" H.
Gold-plated Connectors: The KX350.2 uses custom-tooled, gold-plated connectors to assure maximum power transfer and damping. The power, ground, remote, and speaker connections feature set-screw terminals. A 3mm Allen wrench is supplied to loosen or tighten the Allen-head set screws. The RCA line inputs and outputs are also gold plated.
Speaker-level Inputs: High-level input connections are included to allow use with sources that do not have RCA preamp level outputs. A 12" speaker-level input harness with a 4-pin Molex plug on one end is provided.
PAST RCA Line Outputs: The line outputs, called PAST outputs (Pre Amp Signal Transfer), allow you to pass an unfiltered preamp-level signal from this amplifier to another amplifier. This eliminates the need to use RCA splitter cords to distribute signals to two amplifiers. Note: Regardless of whether you use the RCA inputs or the speaker-level inputs on this amplifier, you will still be able to use the RCA outputs.
Dynamic Power Rating (measured at 14.4V):
- Per Channel Into A 4-Ohm Load: 110 watts x 2 (1% THD+N)
- Per Channel Into A 2-Ohm Load: 175 watts x 2 (1% THD+N)
- Bridged Into A 4-Ohm Load: 350 watts x 1 (1% THD+N)
Continuous Power Rating (measured at 12.5V):
- Per Channel Into A 4-Ohm Load: 70 watts x 2 (0.085% THD+N)
- Per Channel Into A 2-Ohm Load: 135 watts x 2 (0.5% THD+N)
- Bridged Into A 4-Ohm Load: 265 watts x 1 (0.5% THD+N)
Dimensions:
- Without EndKaps: Width=12.625", Height=2.213", Depth=9.524"
- With EndKaps: Width=16.0", Height=2.55", Depth=9.904"
Amplifier Wiring: This amplifier uses two 25-amp fuses, so its total fuse rating is 50 amps. The Streetwires 8-gauge amp wiring kits (item #s 211PS8B, 211PS8R, 211PS8BI, 211PS8RI) include a 60-amp fuse, which will accommodate the amp's fuse rating. Some 4-gauge wiring kits also include 60-amp fuses (Scosche--142AKPA14, Rockford Fosgate--575CP4CKDS). Other 8-gauge amp wiring kits carried by Crutchfield include a 40-amp fuse. If you are using an 8-gauge amp wiring kit with a fuse rated less than 50 amps, the fuse should be replaced with a 50-amp AGU fuse (item #s 211AGU50, 142P50F4I).
