Got enough juice? Get an amp for your new sub Do the math — add one 10" Solo-Baric L7 sub plus one slim-profile sealed truck enclosure. The total is the TS10L7, a high-performance bass machine that's perfect for behind-the-seat installation in your truck.

The TS10L7 enclosure delivers big performance with its square 10" Solo-Baric L7 subwoofer. The L7 incorporates an aluminum-deposit polypropylene cone and Santoprene rubber surround in a massive aluminum frame for synapse-frying low-frequency impact.

The rock-solid, 3/4"-MDF truck box with its extra-thick baffle takes everything the L7 sub can dish out — your bass stays accurate and true even at the highest sound pressure levels. The enclosure is coated with black catalyzed polyurethane to protect against damage. Hook up some healthy amplification, and let this box take you to Bass City!

  • 10" Solo-Baric L7 subwoofer

Enclosed Subwoofers 101

An enclosed subwoofer is a box with a subwoofer already installed. The advantage to buying an enclosed sub is that the manufacturer made the sub, then designed and built the box as a perfect match, so you'll get the best possible performance. Every enclosed sub has a maximum RMS power handling rating, so pair it with an amp with a similar RMS power rating to get the best performance.

AWSOME! This thing rocks. I had two 12's in an undersized box in my 99 Ranger. I put this thing in and it just blew me away. I absolutely love it. I highly recommend this sub for a small space vehicle.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I just got one of these SB's today, and let me tell you all that I am completely satisfied. I had 2 rockford fosgates 10" P2'S before in my 94 s-10, and this solo-baric(while playin it low to break it in) out performs them! if you want real bass, look no further! I just can't wait for this sub to get broke in so I can through the juice to it.

Specifications Note

Enclosure: The enclosure is constructed from non-resonant 3/4" Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and protected by a layer of rugged catalyzed polyurethane.

Dual Voice Coils: The woofer has two 2-ohm voice coils that are wired in series, presenting a 4-ohm mono load.

Square Design: By making the Solo-Baric square, Kicker is giving you the most possible cone area (or Sd) for a given size baffle, 16% to 20% more area than a conventional subwoofer. More cone area means the Solo-Baric L7 moves more air, resulting in louder, deeper bass.

Cone Materials: An aluminum deposit impregnated cone is used resulting in greater rigidity for less cone flex and less distortion. In addition, the cone is also very resistant to environmental extremes. A rear cone brace provides added strength and reduces cone flex under stress.

Surround: The tough, flexible santoprene rubber surround has a long-throw, positive-roll design, which controls extreme cone excursion and is highly tear-resistant. The corners of the surround are ribbed to ensure linear cone motion. The surround is stitched to the reinforced cone edge, making separation between them virtually impossible.

Inverted Structural Dome: The Inverted Structural Dome replaces a conventional dustcap and locks into the cone for unmatched structural integrity and greatly reduced cone flexing/resonance.

Patented Enhanced BAM (Basket And Motor) Assembly: The cast aluminum basket features a low profile, open design to provide a solid anti-resonant foundation for the motor assembly.

Spider: The durable resin-impregnated poly-cotton spider provides precise coil alignment and critical cone motion control.

Voice Coil: The multi-layer voice coil and Kapton former create a superior magnetic field and effectively dissipate heat.

Chromed UniPlate Construction: The UniPlate construction combines the backplate and extended pole piece into a single unit to maximize magnetic efficiency and minimize alignment problems often caused by two-piece construction. The bottom of the UniPlate is chromed to provide enhanced heat transfer for cool operation and maximum power handling.

Bumped Back Plate: The deep bumped back plate lets the voice coil reach maximum excursion without bottoming-out.

Perimeter Venting: The perimeter venting cooling system continuously pumps hot air away from the voice coil, replacing it with cool outside air.

Gaskets: The one piece front beauty ring and separate one-piece rear gasket insure an airtight seal and provide enhanced cosmetics.

Tinsel Leads: The speaker features sleeved high-power tinsel lead wires to resist breakage and power-robbing resistance losses.

Spring Posts: The spring posts will accept bare wire and pin connectors.

Specifications Note

Sensitivity: In the features and specs section, the sensitivity is automatically rounded up to 86 dB. The enclosure actually has a sensitivity rating of 85.6 dB.

  • Overall: W=17.563", H=14.75", D1=10.209", D2=7.959"
    • Depth Note: The depth measurements include the protrusion of the grille on the front, and the speaker terminals on the back. The enclosure by itself has the following depth measurements: D1=9.25", D2=6.25".
