The 06S12L74 12" subwoofer begins with a square cone crafted from aluminum-treated composites and suspended in a tough Santoprene rubber surround. This combination of an ultra-rigid cone and excellent cone excursion moves lots of air, for bass you can hear and feel.
It takes more than a cone to make a great sub, and Kicker's got the whole package. A cast-aluminum basket minimizes resonance that affects accuracy at higher levels, while Kicker's UniPlate construction virtually eliminates "bottoming out" — the evil sound that a sub makes when it's overextended.
