Built to handle abuse
Built to handle abuse
Kicker's CompVR Series 43CVR104 sub delivers serious bass without tearing a hole in your wallet. This 10" sub handles up to 350 watts RMS, thanks to a tough, injection-molded polypropylene cone supported by a reliable Santoprene™ surround. The unique SoloKon™ cone with its 360-degree back bracing keeps going strong when the bass gets heavy, while perimeter venting in the strong steel basket keeps the voice coils cool for dependable performance.
Dual voice coils for wiring flexibility
The sub's dual 4-ohm voice coils give you more wiring options when setting up your system. The sub's cool-looking black finish highlights the potent low end you'll hear and feel.
Note: If you are wiring this DVC sub for lower impedance, make sure that your amp is compatible.

Features
Dual Voice Coils: This woofer features dual 4Ω voice coils, offering wiring flexibility. When the voice coils are wired in parallel, the woofer presents a 2Ω load. When the voice coils are wired in series, the woofer presents an 8Ω load.
Rubber Magnet Boot: A black rubber boot covers the outside edge of the magnet structure to improve the cosmetics of the woofer and protect the magnet during installation. The boot is removable if needed for tight installations.
Break-in Period: The high-performance suspension system makes the speaker very stiff out-of-the-box. Approximately 2 weeks of daily playing will allow the suspension to break-in and reach its optimum equilibrium. A broken-in subwoofer will exhibit stronger bass performance, smoother response, and greater low-bass extension.
Sealed Enclosures: Sealed enclosures provide the most control over a woofer and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable to all types of music. Kicker recommends sealed enclosures from 0.8 ft³ to 3.0 ft³.
Vented Enclosures: Vented (or ported) enclosures typically provide better overall efficiency than sealed so they are suitable for use with smaller amplifiers, giving you more bass output from less power. Kicker recommends ported enclosures in the following range:
- Minimum Enclosure Volume: 1.25 ft³ with a 10-1/2" x 2" x 20" slot port
- Maximum Enclosure Volume: 1.75 ft³ with a 10-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 20" slot port

Put these under my rear seat in a 2014 ram 1500. Installed in my first attempt at a homemade fiberglass box. They're awesome. Hit hard and clean. Almost to much for a quad cab. Powering 2 of them @ 1ohm with a pioneer 1200x1 amp.
