Crutchfield Support recommended Sub along with complete OEM replacement system for my 93 Deville. Received in just a few days, though had to wait for competitor to deliver other necessary items (yes, I was price shopping). Once those items arrived (following several phone calls and a "week later"), I ventured out to install everything. Pulled Sub out of box, inspected and set it safely aside, then did the same for everything else. Speakers, Radio, amp, and wiring installed, I then grabbed the Sub to place it in the trunk and just happen to see the top center of the sub sag as I safely set it down. In looking further, I find the wood behind the carpet in between the two subs was broken. Clearly a shipping claim, though was apprehensive as it had been sitting for a week as I awaited delivery of remaining items from the competitor. I called Crutchfield support the minute I discovered the damage. Informed me UPS would be out to inspect. 5 days later, I called back Crutchfield customer support to explain I have not seen UPS. Upon review, they stated UPS denied the claim and my apprehensiveness turns to slight panic. Customer service placed me on hold for just a few minutes, came back on the phone and explained they are getting me a replacement out ASAP. Slight panic turned to relief! Today, UPS picked up the damaged Sub, and I see the new will arrive tomorrow. Point of this long story is... I wrongfully price shopped. Crutchfield just earned all my future business!
